Sorry for the late response - No I did not have the bass knob pulled when I recorded this. Once upon a time though, I always had the bass knob pulled out... not so much these days.
Thanks, man. Yeah, I like this amp. I've had it for almost 20 years - still kicking...I don't own a JCM 800 so I don't know how they compare. I know that these Laneys cost much less than a JCM800. Good luck on your search..
Tasty licks man. Which tubes you running? I love how you get this thing to sound clean in places mine are the same capability wise. I have 3, an AOR30 Combo a Series1 50 and a 100 series 1. All killer amps.
Yes they are they to me even beat out Friedman amps...... Tried for decades to find this tone and ultimately came back to these. Some come close but no cigar...... Love the strat and Paul I am a start and Sg man myself.

Thanks man. I think I had Tungsols when I recorded this. I've been using this amp since 2000 and it still kicking ass! Those AOR amps are awesome.
