NHTSA New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) Side Pole Impact:
A small-sized adult female crash test dummy is placed in the driver's seat and is secured with a seat belt. The test vehicle, angled at 75 degrees, is then pulled sideways at 20 mph (32km/h) into a 25-cm diameter pole at the driver's seating location. This test mimics a side impact crash involving a narrow, fixed object like a utility pole or tree. 1 star is the lowest rating; 5 stars is the highest. More stars equal safer cars.
Overall Rating: 5-Star
Overall Front Star Rating: 5-Star
Front Driver Side: 5-Star
Front Passenger Side: 5-Star
Overall Side Star Rating: 5-Star
Side Crash Driver Side: 5-Star
Side Crash Passenger Side: 5-Star
Front Seat Rating: 5-Star
Combined Rear Seat Rating: 5-Star
Side Barrier Rating: 5-Star
Overall Side Pole Star Rating: 5-Star
Rollover Star Rating: 5-Star
The rollover rating measures the risk of rollover in a single-vehicle, loss-of-control scenario.

Accord Frontal Crash Test. Please ???
I love the tenth-generation Honda Accord, especially this specific colour (Champagne Frost).
As safe as a Volvo ; not as safe as a Tesla.
Haha, no. Tesla sucks ass. Can't even come close to the safety level of Volvo.
Protector of the Republic Tesla preserved 63.5 percent of driver residual space vs. 7.8 percent for the Volvo.
Tesla got a perfect safety score in every category while Volvo didn't.
azalru The Tesla didn’t even get a good rating on the small overlap test, it got an acceptable rating.
Donny Ayye They didn't test the newer Tesla Model X which aced the real world test of a large GMC truck hitting the passengerside front 25% of the vehicle, at 45 mph head on. All six passengers with their dog opened the doors and walked away like nothing happened.
In another news story a 2016 vovlo Xc90 was hit by a dodge truck fully head on and the driver had to be cut out and airlifted to a hospital.
In Nhtsa reports frontal impact forces and cabin intrusion were significantly less in the Model X, displaying negatives while the Volvo xc90 showed all postives higher g forces with less occupant space.
Also Volvo models are being dropped from IIhs safety picks.

Volvo vehicles do not rank high in real-world crash safety data according to this report by IIHS
Among all the hundreds of models of cars, crossovers, SUVs, and pickup trucks on the road, only 11 models have a "zero" driver death rating. None are Volvos. Another ten models have a rate of lower than 8 driver deaths. None are Volvos.
Volvo's newest SUV, the XC90, failed to earn a score of "Good" on the IIHS headlight safety test conducted this past month. Its score of "Marginal" will result in being kicked off the top safety pick list.
