Lots of changes need to be made to this plan. Move the outside steps to align with the entrance. Inside, flip the dining/kitchen areas, and create a u-shaped kitchen. This would allow for the sink to have a window and perhaps even a pass-through by the grill. I'd also add windows by the new dining area. In the living space, remove the fireplace and put the couch on that back wall. This would open up the space, allowing for more seating and make it not feel so closed in. If desired, you could put a smaller woodburning fireplace in the corner by the entrance. Maybe take out the windows on either side of the entrance doors. Ditch the zany wallpaper and tiles in the bathrooms! Figure out a way to put a washer/dryer in one of the bathrooms. Maybe the hallway would be eliminated/reconfigured, for the most part, to do that. Anyway, just my thoughts.
There are several things that are so 'off' about this house, before even entering, which is very disappointing because it has some good features. Starting with the front porch....the steps align with nothing, not even the front entrance. They aren't even in the center of the porch. The porch is a lovely feature, but the placement of the steps a tad far to the left...and even worse....the entrance even further over to the left. I think a bit more thought and careful design could make this so much more pleasing to the eye. Inside, there is a good sized space, but the one long wall in the back that includes the living area and merges into the kitchen area is really odd. It just seems like a much better design inside and out could really make this house plan way more appealing. I do like the simple roof line and the porch that covers the entire front, but beyond that, the placement of everything is just odd.
No back door. Wouldn't pass inspection. That back wall needs a window or two. Put one above the sink. Put the fireplace in the corner to allow for another window or door to back porch/patio.
I don’t care for this living room with that bedroom hallway in relationship to the living room. Wont have a laundry area in a food prep area either. Master BR is too small. I honestly don’t care how big a bathroom is as long as it has the services that I need in it I don’t live in a bathroom. Both are fine. Guest room a bit too small too.
Why in heavens name would you want glass doors on your bedrooms and bathrooms? And why would you want a huge table in the kitchen? Kinda feels claustrophobic.
I love it. A few changes here n there.
This is the plan I will be using. I'll change a few things, but it's as close to what will work for me as I have found.
❤
I like it❤

Who the hell puts a door with windows on a bathroom door?
