I LOVE when the makers include lots of clever gadgets! Aside from being pratically convenient, it presents these little intellectual puzzles for how many different ways you can use a space!
Every time the camera panned to the pub at the marina While you were fussing with the doors, I drifted off imagining me sitting there having a cold draft beer with a basket of fish n’ chips, what a view! ... started over 4 times! Ha! ADD kicked in! Awesome boat Nick! Cudos to the builders. Cheers! 🍻
Beautiful piece of Superb British craftsmanship. The design of the patio door and port crew seat deserve some sort of design award as both simple, effective and excellent features.
Another very thorough walkthrough, Nick- great job! I always know there's never any danger of a feature being missed (or a cupboard going unopened) when you're on the job. Thank you and looking forward to the next :)
This is literally the most flexible and arrangable boat i've ever seen. Btw this channel always lives up to expectations and presents everything clearly and impeccably.
This would be a perfect retirement boat for people wanting to spend their time fishing in lakes, rivers and estuaries. With a small generator, a freezer and an extra fridge this would be more than enough to live aboard and even have guests *coughs* grandkids *coughs* for the weekend.
Love the way you show the same interest in boats which cost millions and boats that cost £200k well done nick another fantastic tour look forward for more videos
Hey, Nick! This might sound a bit geeky, but would you ever consider doing a vid about the operations of the navigation equipment on board all these boats (a Smugglers Blues 2 Operating Tour springs to mind!). I often see you talk about the ‘state of the art’ and high-tech options at the helm, but I think people would be interested in how they actually work at sea. Love the prospect of owning a boat- but wouldn’t have a clue where to learn the ropes if I did. You’d be the man to ask!!!!!! All the best and have loved the channel for quite a while
Did you repost this one? On today's Aquaholic bingo: 1. Nifty 2. Fresh out of the factory 3. That fellow there **points at an inanimate object** 4. Magic of video editing 5. The cleverness doesn't stop there

Sorting through my washing and watching this episode, and heard Nick say “that little black fella down there” quickly looked at TV and he was talking about a speaker in the forward cabin 😂
I used the wrong edit for the engine segment, meaning I gave it the wrong engine! So it's been re-edited with the right engine segment, and this is it. 🤦🏻♂️
All in all a usable, economic inshore river craft with good proportions and spec level. I know £300k sounds a lot but this is good value. Dare I say Smugglers Blues 2.1 !!
I love these small engined boats. Something about the simplicity, reliability and fuel economy of a little diesel really appeals to me far more than going fast ever would. Looks like Nanni diesels are made from Kubota base engine blocks so they should be very good.
Nick, your reviews are great and bring me joy as an ex-yachtie now a land lubber slaving at desk job and dreaming of my own yacht...ideally a Dutch 55 mtr but a wee 10 mtr will suffice 😉
Nice Vlog👍and nice boat! Really well thought out with the innovative door, converting sofa/bed/seat area, and the long keel and protected prop! Nicely appointed for it's size and decent price for all that it has!
I quite like this one, it would be a lovely live aboard for a couple, or a single. Spend your time cruising up and down the coast, and exploring rivers and canals. Lovely. Of course, as always, and Aquaholic tour shows it off best. I do have to agree as well, that saloon door is an excellent and simple way to open her up.
You had me at the clever entry door arrangement - I'm glad I stayed for the rest, because the "cool" stuff kept coming. As you point out, Nick, on the rivers, navigation becomes a moot point. For any single person who wants the latest in river cruising BLING - this is it - "the companion getter". For a couple, the cozy quarters will leave little to the imagination. Two retirees with grand kids would have a BLAST chugging up and down the narrow waterways for a long Summer. Yup, when it comes to relaxed river boating, this would give even Mr. Toad's waterway adventures some good competition.
Very clever doors which I’d love on my house. The seat is also well designed. Couple of weeks on that would be a breeze either inshore or off shore. Cheers Nick.
That engine looks lovely!! 🤪 I thought the first video was just as good, albeit with slightly misbehaving magic. Made down the road from me, sold by your friends at NYA down the toad from me, brilliant river boat or coastal cruiser. Thanks again 👍
And there was me thinking we had a double #Aquaholic feature!!! 😂 Nice practical little boat for comfortable river cruising, smart looks & nice features. Princess, Sunseeker, Fairline check out those doors!!! Great tour Nick, thanks 👍🏻
Very nice Nick, the doors are innovative , I wish we could magic things away in life, but for now we will have to watch you do it, very practical. Many thanks Nick from sunny Los Angeles
Wow! Love it! So smart! Looks very good, too. I think this might be the best small boat you ever shown us! A bit on the pricey side, but come on! Nifty, indeed. Cheers! (I arrived too late and didn't saw the other upload hahaha)
Really nice piece of kit. I like the Haines range of boats for their simplicity in design. I would love to see the two cabin version asap. The only downside to this boat is the power output of the engine. I know it's a river cruiser so you don't need 30+ knots but the max speed of around 9 is a bit on the slow side even for our rivers. It does look a really nice comfortable boat to have. Onto my shopping list it goes. Nice one NAQB.
Ahhh two Aquaholic vids in one day ...👍😎.... River boats not really my cuppa tea....but it’s very interesting that You point out a few things not needed on a River boat ...ie Chart plotter .... Rails only come halfway down the boat etc .... Now I used to live near the Thames and spent many hours cruising up and down the Thames between Windsor and Henley .... and there is one thing that you Never see on the River !!! A Boat at Anchor ..... 🤔🤔🤔.... Seems a bit odd that even dedicated River boats All have an Anchor ....🤦♂️Anyway ...as usual a very informative and a great watch ...cheers Nick
Fantastic tour, Nick! I can picture cruising along in this one, sitting in the sheltered cockpit. Lovely boat! I did enjoy the video editing trick. I'm going to give that a try. Best wishes!
@@AQUAHOLIC Well I honestly can't tell the difference in the engines. Although I noticed that this cut of the video had a 'get-at-able' in it, which always brightens my day. Although I do so dearly miss the Miele days.
As always very in depth review and tour of the boat! I started watching your reviews of the larger sea yachts. They are impressive! But as I haven't won the lottery yet, I have done the next best thing, on a 'mini' scale and booked a Broom 35 on the Norfolk broads. This boat is very similar to the Broom 35 coupe, maybe a collaboration between Haines and Broom? The Broom has the Nanni 60bhp diesel.
Interesting layout but two things come to mind. Firstly this boat doesn’t encourage daily engine checks, secondly you pay through the nose for a semi custom boat.
yep ppl are not going to lift all that to check your oil each time before going out, not so keen on the horizontal sockets, seems a bit dated for a new boat
I used the wrong edit for the engine segment, meaning I gave it the wrong engine! So it's been re-edited with the right engine segment, and this is it. 🤦🏻♂️

It's okay, mistakes happen 😀
Me one week ago: I don't need a boat.
Me now after watching 50 Aquaholic videos: I NEED a boat!
Go for it! :)
The same thing happened to me! Now if only I could find a few million spare $s lying around...

I really like this boat Nick. I'd love to see a tour of the offshore version and one with 2 cabins.
The Offshore version is cosmetically identical, it's the structure and engine that changes.
Great innovations, especially the 3 door panels, that was very ingenious.
