You must try to convert a free fly Lidl glider, is less expensive and realy awesome.
@@chauvusfpv43 Yep, the Lidl gliders ARE much cheaper! We're converting several version 1 models that are available in Australia for AU$10. They make great fliers - BUT you will be scratching to get them set up under 250gms! ;-)
These little things are a tight fit to get everything in but are streets ahead of any other sub-250gm cruiser available today! Grab 1 (or more!) from your local warehouse while you can! 🙂

I just brought this little plane from RDQ, 07/20/23... and I was thinking about Returning it. Your video, changed my mind; THANK YOU!!
I originally bought this plane for slow flights, like what you just demonstrated. I have other FPV Flying Wings and Aircraft but they're geared toward mid to long range FAST flights (15+ and beyond 100+ mph), which is extremely hard to do in a dense city with small parks (Philadelphia, PA). With the Flying Fish, I can literally fly at most of the parks in Philly easily!!

Great video. It has inspired me to put a Vista unit on my Multiplex Funnystar. Came out at 260g and I hope it will fly a bit like the flying fish for some close prox flying.

Great job Flying!. you always can add a flight controller just for the data feedback and not necessarily control, RSSI data, battery voltage, speed and altitude! Cheers mate.
Thanks 😁 Yeah sure could always add an FC for the data... but in this case I just don't really need any data and I'm quite enjoying the simplicity of no FC. F411 would be ideal for someone that does want to add an FC though
Mine's sub250g with a full inav (matek f411-wse) flight controller and GPS with DJI FPV. It's pretty brilliant.
mine is 264g with that FC and a vista with nebula nano camera, how do you get yours under 250g?
Yeah I looked your vid and I also saw your comment on another FF video stating that yours is over 250g. Even though it's not sub250 i'm sure it still great to fly

Thanks Mick, I really appreciate your support on here and through buymeacoffee 🙌🏻 The Dart 250 wasn't a plane I enjoyed much, in my opinion the Flying Fish is more stable and flies nice. Just my opinion though😃
Nice! How does it do in the wind? I love smaller aircraft, but here in Az it is always windy.
Thanks 😊 it handles the wind a lot better than any other 250g I’ve had. That’s one of the reasons this will be the only 250g plane I plan to keep long term. I did some flights in windier conditions when it was on analogue, I’ll add some footage of that in the next video I do on this plane 👍🏻 I can’t really say a bad word about this one

Wow that looks fun, great flying. How do you record fpv video from the DJI goggle without the Vista connected to a flight controller?
Thanks 😃 to record with the DVR in your goggles when there is no arm command from an FC, you simply have to press a manual record button on your goggles. From memory you also need to turn off auto heat protection in the goggle settings as that prevents recording until an arm command is received.

Just bought the fpv version of this paid £130 a bit pricey considering it's eachine and the size but from what I see people can't really fault it , will use with my frsky qx7 and eachine moneagle
Yeah that's not cheap, the price is really up and down at the moment but people in the UK are suffering more at the moment due to not being able to get items from the CZ warehouse etc. Oh well forget the price now and enjoy it 😁 I have to say I cannot fault it so far, great impressions straight out the box, flies well and it can take a smash really well too! 😅

Really!? Round here this is about the smallest park there is 😂 I imagine the drift is good for parks, maybe a bit bigger and louder I’d guess

No burnt motors on 4s with stock props?
The sales blurb says 2-4s but those little motors look very like the 1105/5000kv KingKong/LDARC units off the Tiny Wing450 which are only rated to 3s (at 10.5A) on a 2345 3-blader prop in the data sheets. Be interesting to watch for any complaints from the Hot-Rodder community. 🤔
On this flight with that battery. probably about 400mah used in 10minutes equals about only 2.5A average.
As mentioned by theoztrecrasher, this flight was just cruising around and the motors will have barely warmed up, let alone burnt. If I went WOT for a full flight it might have been a different story. All motors can be run on pretty much any voltage with the right props OR right flying style 😃
This could be the way forward alright :-)

This plane can be really cheap from the CZ warehouse if you buy at the right time 👌🏻 obviously I went and more than doubled the value of mine by sticking DJI on it 😅

No but I guess nothing is cheap in this hobby at the moment with stock levels being pretty bad. It’s even worse for you guys in the UK too, the PNP version of this plane was just €79 delivered from CZ warehouse recently which I think is very reasonable.
@@AdamGdoesFPV yeah £79 delivered is reasonable. Delivered to the uk inow it's £112. It's the sort of plane I could fly in the same spots I took my emax tinyhawk freestyle II.
