Always listen to your wife. My backhoe/trencher started fouling plugs, belching out black smoke and running like Joe on a stairway. I took the carburetor off and was looking online for a rebuild kit. My wife picks the carb' up and said you have an acorn in it... She was right!!!!!!
I came across this video because I had a similar experience with getting it wet. I had a power outage and was using it to power my sump pump so my basement doesn't get flooded because of course, the power goes out during s bad storm...when you have lots of water going into your sump basin 🙄. Anyways it got splashed ,It started making all kinds of beeping sounds and acting weird. Then it just stopped working. I got angry and tossyit across the room. Fast forward 6 months ...lots of time for it to dry out. Try it... still doesn't work. I figured I would open it up before I threw it in the trash since I had nothing to lose. It turns out that there is a thick blue wire jumped to each battery connector, and it was completely off the terminal on one of them. I clipped it back on and it came back to life!! It must have dislodged when I threw the unit. Anyways, another happy ending story. I love this thing. I use it to power my miter saw, shopvacs, etc when I am on a job with few power outlets.
I run mine with the new 15 amps batteries and I can run a small 85 amp welder with 1/16 rods, also I can run an 8000 btu window air conditioner for 1 hour , also I can run 2 fridges a freezer lights and fans got about 5 hours. Just some info for anybody to know
How did the A/C test go ? I couldn’t find a video
It ran for 45 minutes with it on full tilt. Worked great but obviously not long-term.

Sure Does get a Milwaukee. I don’t have deep pockets like you that way you can let me know if it works good lol. Have a good one brother.
I jus got this powerstation myself. Ran a mag drill all day. All of a sudden tho my 1 15ah battery that i used on it wont work on this powerstation. It works on other tools tho. Also i have 1 12ah that wont work on it either but it never worked on ot from the beginning. I dont get it. Have you had any weird issues like this? Also by the way im a commercial door and gate guy too. Also do docks
Can’t say I have had that problem yet. Stay safe out there those dock plates can be coffins real quick.
@@affordabledoorgatellc7391 yea they can we like to hook a boom truck up the lip sometimes to hold it open especially if messin with the main springs
@@affordabledoorgatellc7391 you def got the batteries for it. Have you tried the flexvolt grinder? Dcg418. If you havent you should. Its a beast of a grinder. Maybe dewalt best cordless tool of anything they make. Milwaukee is nothin compared to it
@@bossmanz28 I would have to agree with that. A contractor I work for uses one for pole barn sheet-metal and man does it just go.
Hey, I have the same issue, I just purchased a couple of 9ah that's fully charged but it's giving me a light error that says battery is low and just beeps
