Totally unreal. Favorite track of 2023. The piano solo is incredible, and gets less overwhelming and more enjoyable with every listen.
I am addicted to it and how the strings help building the tension with the chromatic rises.

I've just realised that the piano/keyboard player in this and on various other Knower/ Louis Cole tracks, (Rai Thistlethwayte), is one of the founder members of an Australian band called 'Thirsty Merc'. Might have to suggest some tracks on the buy me a coffee page.

I was trying to introduce someone to Knower yesterday. Puzzled over how best to do it and settled on sending them this song.

I understand this struggle. lol This happens to me with a bunch of bands recently. Some of the music is so eclectic it’s hard to pick just 1 song that best represents the band and that will also get someone interested to hear more. Knower falls into this category for sure. I played ‘overtime’ for one of my friends and they loved it. I played it for another friend, and like you, never heard back. Lol.

I get that not all music (even technically brilliant stuff) appeals to everyone. My partner seems to really enjoy Knower but doesn't like Louis Cole. 🙂
