Thank you for saying the positives and making it detailed , everyone is scaring me saying its the most hardest but that is most definitely not what i want to hear
I just started it. It’s already my favourite subject but it’s also the hardest!!! It also takes the most of my time- going over stuff. Can’t wait for this!! Thank u!! 🙏
this was so useful thank you :) i really want to take it but i don't know if i'm good enough at it, i really enjoyed gcse and might want this for the future. it seems like a lot so i'm very unsure
@@LeahRebecca idk if you still reply but say I got the grades for the requirements to do biology but my math grade was a C should I change my mind and do something else?
@@thatkid.b1480 well done with bio! I got an 8 then didn’t like maths at alll but I think that was from my bad teacher. think what subject u could get an A in/ if your prospective degree neeeeeds maths! good luck
I really love biology and I'm willing to put in the extra time and effort but I got a C at gcse I'm wondering if I should study it at A level or I should give up and try something. I'm feeling discouraged.
it’s great that you love biology💜 I think you should stay with it and you will have a lot of time to improve especially if you’re really passionate about it!! Best of luck don’t let people bring you down
@@Zara-dz3sn I think they are a good combination and a good mix. Maths was by far the hardest it almost drove me insane, but it’s the one I’m most proud of. It didn’t come easy to me at all I really had to sweat for my C grade. Psychology was a lot of reading and case studies and did get rather tedious towards the end, it’s why I didn’t want to do it at degree level, too much reading and theory.
@@Zara-dz3sn I’m afraid I’m wrong person to ask about that. Again it’s your degree that starts filtering and directing you to long term career. A levels are a stepping stone. Ask your careers adviser!
Well I basically have to choose by tomorrow and today was resukts day I’ll be honest I didn’t do the best in my gcses I did okay 6’s as the max and for science I did double science and I was really bad a physics so it put my grade down but regardless I used to really like science especially biology and chemistry but I honestly dk if I could cope with this I also dk if I even want to become a dentist and I honestly dk what I want to do with my life
I’ve started with biology, chemistry and English lit and biology is already my least favourite. It just already seems overwhelming and I don’t like the way it’s taught but I don’t think I can drop it as there are no other subjects I’d rather do.
aw no:( definitely get your parents to write an email about it- you could probably change teacher and class? but its also likely its just a bad start with the teachers and covid, so it will get better wtih different topics? wishing you the best! :((
@Sha Ma I love it, I think it’s a really good mix with my two sciences as it’s so different. I feel like it comes quite naturally to me so I haven’t had to put too much work in for it. But I think when you grasp how to write the essays you are fine and it is a guaranteed good grade.
how did you find chemistry? I really wanna take it next year but I'm currently getting B's in (year 10) mocks and don't know if I'm aiming too high? is it really hard x
hi leah xx hope you are well and btw your room is super pretttyyy xo im stressed for my gcse results (starting bio/chem/maths in september) and i was wondering, if i got a 7 in gcse biology, would i still be okay to take alevel? i never know with these things bc im in a very competitive school and im used to 9s being the norm :( thanks so much for your video and i subscribed xx
tysm liam hii! yes 7s are good pls do not worry about results day! try to enjoy your summer before A-levels to recharge❤️ sixth forms are more lenient on the entrance day anyway!Best of luck
Is it possible to get an A* if u only get a 8 at gcse, while I haven’t got my grades yet that’s my predicted (mixture if 8 and 9s through the year) bc I’ve seen a lot of people say it’s impossible to get an A* I’f ur not getting a 9 easily at gcse, which sounds stupid but idk

Can I purchase the books from you if there no longer in use

they teach you well so don't worry!

Do you use your gcse knowledge for a-level or do you kinda start over? Also i loved the video 😘
yes you expand on a lot from GCSE! similar topics in further depth!
thank you!!💜

Me: don't wanna take it

Biology is the worst subject, so much content and the teachers dont know how to teach i wish i never chose it
aww its definitely hard but you can do it! the textbook explains things better so i would recommend reading ahead so teachers dont confuse you first
