WOW...congratulations on the summit! I loved the film. It was so great to go back in time and see the land once again, remember the people, the culture, the toasts and vodka! It was a trip of a lifetime. I remember the river crossings in the vans and the wooden bridges while holding my breath as we traversed them. I was supposed to go the winter migration in Mongolia this year but because of Covid-19, everything has been postponed. A big congratulations to you and Thom for successfully finish this trip.

What a spectacular video! Thanks to your yearly visits to Mongolia with your amazing videos and photos, I’m sure a lot of foreigners visit us and help us with our tourism industry. Aside from natural resources, tourism is one of the most important sectors we have to sustain our country and I’d like to thank you for your contributions for it.
Wild horse is not only a belief, actually. There is a wild type of horse in Mongolia, called Takhi. Never domesticated, and different thatn domestic horses. Takhi has a couple of white/black stripes on their front legs, reminiscent of de zebra.
Loved it! Especially seeing a glimpse of what life is like in Mongolia for nomadic herding families and communities. So interesting. And what an epic climb for all involved!

We recorded the sound track in Mongolia. The musicians are Kazakh Mongolians from Ulgii called Kogershin and his daughter Erkejan (singing). We have known their family for many years. They are all very musical and perform both traditional and contemporary Kazakh music.
Hi Timothy, Could you recomand a travel agency from Ulgii or some family from there that tranpsort us to the base camp Tavan Bogd National Park? In one month we will be there. Thank you!

We spent another 2 weeks on another expedition in Western Mongolia... This film was just a part of the trip.
