I have another Cateye model that resembles the EL 340 a lot. It came with four rechargeable batteries also with a fast charger. It has very high light. I got it in 2012 and only now, in 2018 three of those rechargeable batteries no longer charge. I'm using four 2500mAh Sony rechargeable batteries now.
