Yeah, I came for this. How can you get across to others the Earth-moving, foundation-laying turning point that the Beatles were? I mean, to hear they were "popular" - it's just dumbfounding. You can't blame younger folks for not getting it, feeling it (similar to how it was when man landed on the moon, or JFK was assassinated; it just shattered everything that came before). I think what I love best about the Beatles is how their music evolved from album to album. Compare this song, which is from their last album in 1969, to something like “I Saw Her Standing There” or “Twist & Shout” from their first album in 1962. Completely different sound and vibe. They started as a energetic beat driven live band, and they became one of the most influential and innovative studio bands of all time. They pioneered a lot of the recording and production techniques that are used today. Their music is simple, yet complex, and that has allowed them to endure as one of the greatest music acts of all time, and as an enduring cultural institution.
I like the fact that many people dont know these 60s classic bands and Artist like LedZep Pink Floyd and Beatles and James Brown because when they do listen to them,,it is a totally new discovery to hear what they were creating way before this current time ..

My mom and an older brother were huge fans, so I never remember not hearing these songs. I’m not jealous...I’m happy that you’re discovering the music and sharing your thoughts with us. THANK YOU.
It is no exaggeration to say that the Beatles invented Pop music, they were the first to 'produce' in the true sense of the word with studio multi-tracking. They wrote more consecutive hits than any other group or artist at that time. And they also inspired the psychedelic movement in the sixties and pioneered that music genre, and even more astonishing, they inspired waves of British progressive rock and set the standard for what became known as the 'concept album'. Each album was approached as a distinct work of art, just as every song was written to be distinctive and unique. They appeared at exactly the right time, seeing bands perform on television was a relatively new medium, and the boom generation meant that there were millions of teenage girls out there with record players, everyone had radio and TV, there were jukeboxes of course playing singles. With new live sound system technology developing , it was suddenly possible for performers to play in huge arenas and stadiums in front of thousands of spectators. So these screaming Beatles fans just went berserk!!! Their concerts became a dangerous liability, Lol...they had to stop the huge venues, even though they started it!! Hahaha!!
@@randlnickel9196 Pretty sure it's about each member of The Beatles since they were breaking up around this time (1970)? Not everything is about race -- in fact, very few things are in the non-racist/non-racially motivated world, where most people live. The whole 'come together' part is typical of them given their hippie, Eastern, socialist nature, so it's just a vague statement on 'humans coming together', and has nothing to do with race. About five of their major songs are like that. Very typical socialist, anti-war, hippie stuff. Very common in the 1960s from metal and rock bands as that was the overall culture in the West of America at that time.
I love that you are a drummer from a jazz background, which, in my eyes, gives you musical chops to react to these songs. Definitely a fan of your channel.

For their political and spiritual influence in Soviet Russia, read "How the Beatles Rocked the Kremlin." It's a great book based on oral interviews of the underground leaders of the Beatles' movement. They were banned in Russia because, as the Russian leadership said, they "gave people a feeling of freedom."
My favorite Beatles songs "I'm only Sleeping", "In my Life", "While my guitar gently weeps", "rocky raccoon" the list goes on. IN my opinion it is hard to find a Beatles song that is not enjoyable. Please try Benny Goodman "Clarinet a la King" or "Sing, Sing, Sing". Thanks for the reactions
Beatles is my favorite group. There are a couple of songs that are not enjoyable Revolution #9 & You Know my Name there might a couple more but well over 95% are enjoyable
My sister and I disagree about is Paul Mccartney and if he died! I think he is alive and well! There were "clues" in their music and on their albums! The Beatles had kinda of a sassy humor and I do think they puposely put clues to see if fans would pick up it! It's such a controversial issue! I heard some colleges studied this in classrooms! One of the clues was on the Abbey Road album cover, actually more than one, where Paul.was holding a cigarette in his right hand when he is left handed! Well there it is ladies and gentlemen so we have to believe he is dead? I smoke with my left hand and I am right handed! Could people help and just tell me your opinion on is Paul dead or alive?
@@kathrynschimpf8957 I agree they have very intelligent music, especially if you consider their work as a whole. I do not understand your debate about Paul. There was so much going on in the 60's, the world was tired of the old order. People wanted change, a number of groups came to the forefront and put in there 2 cents worth. Beatles were probably the best at expressing this change. Their music and originality stood out for that generation. Hopefully it will live for ever.
After 1966, The Beatles rarely performed live. The music they wanted to create couldn’t be duplicated live with the technology of the time. They became a studio band and wrote and recorded some of the best music in modern history
This song is a masterpiece- Ringo’s drums, Paul’s bass , George on slide guitar and John’s vocals and words. Remember this was 1968. They influenced all future groups.
Good Beatles songs" "And I Love Her," "All My Loving," "I Want to Hold Your Hand," "It Won't Be Long," "Revolution," "Don't Let Me Down" and many others.
ok 👍 The Beatles... Hey Jude; Don't let me down, Get Back, All you need is love , Obladi Oblada, Let it be, many more 😄 of course they have huge list of hit songs...😇🤗
Also did you know Beatles music was outlawed in Soviet Union and therefore was snuggled in played a big part of changing their culture into a more modern progressive government from what it once was.
My suggestion as a 63-year old lifelong #1 fan of the Beatles, for you: 1.) "She Loves You", 1963 2.) "No Reply", 1965 (my favourite) 3.) The legendary "Rooftop Performance" in 1969, the last time the four of them played live together. Backed up by crazy-talented Billy Preston on keyboards, this spontaneous 5 or 6 minute set on top of their studio building in downtown London rocked the surprised lunchgoers in the streets below, as police officers (Bobbies) eventually scurried up the stairs and called a halt to it. It was a classic set of songs that spanned their career from 1957 to that date. A magical, beautiful, glorious, funny, sad goodbye to the last audience they ever had: the capital city of their motherland.
Try to think of The Beatles as pioneers. They were truly the first band to try all sorts of different things with instruments, with song structures, etc. Even their producer - the legendary George Martin - pioneered studio production along with them. They wrote songs that still are relatable today to so many people, old & new fans alike. I grew up with them, and all that my generation can say "well, they're The Beatles". I know that says nothing, but it does mean everything.
Hi I’m going to throw something out to you: this song, “Come Together” played by an awesome current Texas Blues Man, who has amazing stage presence, no auto tune, named Gary Clark, Jr. 😎
The Beatles - the best band ever full stop. The always reset the bar with each album they produced setting the trend for other s to follow. That's why they were so good.
Good reaction. Yeah, from what I understand, they quit touring in 1966 (before I was born), really because the fans screamed so loudly, they couldn’t hear themselves. It had to have been so stressful. So, there probably isn’t a live version since the song came out after they quit touring.
Try Tomorrow Never Knows, Strawberry Fields, A Day in the Life, Rain, Paperback Writer, Dear Prudence, so many amazing songs, you’ve got a great journey ahead of you!
Thank you for answering my request.....this is one of the most funky songs the The Beatles created.....along with the help of Billy Preston the fifth Beatle. I love this song!!! Glad you like it too. The Beatles are one of THE gods of Rock n' Roll. A deep song by The Beatles are "Eleanor Rigby" and "A Day In The Life."
@@Pjaypt In my day George's name was never brought up or labeled as the "5th Beatle" and John, Paul, Ringo, & George never acknowledge or talked about Martin as such. They did along with music critics called Billy Preston as "The 5th Beatle," who help them write songs and play songs on the "Let It Be and Abbey Road" albums. And of course you would have to been there to know that.
@@anthonyblakely399 no I was not there, that's true. But I've been listening to The Beatles for more than 50 years, and reading about them, and I remember in the 70s George Martin being called the 5t Beatle. In fact there were several people named 'the 5th Beatle' through the years, and George Martin is one of them. A quick look at Wikipedia for 'the 5th Beatle' might increase your knowledge about the issue: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fifth_Beatle So yes, my opinion about this (and it was my opinion) may be debatable, but some stuff you say it's just not true. Greetings from a fellow Fab4 fan 👍
@@Pjaypt I really don't rely Wiki because it is written by young folk that did not live in that time of the 60's but yeah....they did get this right........Preston first met the Beatles as a 16-year-old in 1962, while part of Little Richard's touring band, when their manager Brian Epstein organized a Liverpool show, at which the Beatles opened. The Washington Post explained their subsequent meeting: They'd hook up again in 1969, when the Beatles were about to break up while recording the last album they released, Let It Be (they would later record Abbey Road, which was released prior to Let It Be). George Harrison, a friend of Preston, had quit, walked out of the studio and gone to a Ray Charles concert in London, where Preston was playing organ. Harrison brought Preston back to the studio, where his keen musicianship and gregarious personality temporarily calmed the tension.[7] Preston is one of several people referred to as the "Fifth Beatle". At one point during the Get Back sessions, John Lennon proposed the idea of having him join the band (to which Paul McCartney countered that it was difficult enough reaching agreements with four).[8] Preston played organ and electric piano for the Beatles during several of the Get Back sessions; some of these sessions appeared in the film Let It Be and on its companion album. Preston also accompanied the band on electric piano for its rooftop concert, the group's final public appearance.[7] In April 1969, their single "Get Back" was credited to "The Beatles with Billy Preston", the only time such a joint credit had been given on an official Beatles-sanctioned release (as distinct from an unsanctioned reissue of some Hamburg-era recordings on which they were the backing group for Tony Sheridan). The credit was bestowed by the Beatles to reflect the extent of Preston's presence on the track; his electric piano is prominent throughout and he plays an extended solo. Preston also worked, in a more limited role, on the Abbey Road album, contributing organ to the tracks "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" and "Something".
Like everybody said, there is a whole world of songs by The Beatles. I would go back to 1965 and listen to “Ticket to Ride” for a start, then contrast that song to “Strawberry Fields Forever”. The difference in sound in a few short years is astonishing. Even “Tomorrow Never Knows” is a change of light years.
So many request. I hope you don't let them overwhelm you. "You see, ya can't please everyone, so you got to please yourself" from Rick/y Nelson's Garden Party.
The stuff you hear in the background is the four of them recreating their club years. They loved spontaneity and surprise in their recordings. That is why they never seem tired, phony, or too polished.
They're soo great. we are forgetting these were 50+ years ago. The culture was different in the music world and even now when you listen to their songs you can still relate and think they are recent songs.
GOAT . The competition between Lennon and McCartney was UNBELIEVABLE! What was cool too, when in the studio they would cheer each other on. They wrote songs in all styles. A personal favorite is "Rain" where the lead guitar is PAUL'S BASS!!! Side note: Lennon went home to listen to demoon thereel to reel tape recorder and put tape in backwards. John loved song played backwards and "Rain" was immortalized in Beatles lore. A great book written by their engineer Geoff Emrick is UNBELIEVABLE. It's "Here There and Everywhere ".
you will find that the Beatles are the most important group to hit, They are the best group in my eyes, ever. They moved music in new directions and made modern rock a true art form.
John Lennon said this song had no meaning behind it. He called it gobbledy gook. I think it probably went to number one in the US because it had a good hook and because it was a mystery That was an ERA in time when the cool kids were getting high and thought it made them think deep thoughts lol. I was a Freshman in high school. I just liked it for the silliness of the lyrics and the catchy hook and no, I wasn't getting high. The beatles were so young when they started and their songs were light and pop sounding. I loved them then and stuck with them as they and their music matured. Some of my favs from across many albums.......Norwegian Wood, Paperback Writer, Help, In My Life, When I'm 64, Eleanor Rigby, Maybe I'm Amazed, I'm a Loser, Back in the USSR, Yesterday, With a Little Help, This Boy, Till There Was You, Misery, Chains, Rocky Raccoon, The Fool on the Hill, Penny Lane, Blackbird
BTW, it's so nice to see a young person enjoying the Beatles for the first time and actually listening to their music all the way through without stopping and starting the track and commenting every 20 seconds. THAT is the way to listen to any music for the first time.
I’d been listening to my albums on John’s birthday. It’s hard to believe they started with great music - She Loves You, Please Please Me, right through to this and my fav album - Let It Be. No other band has done this. Hope everyone enjoys it. It’s it great discovering ‘new’ music.
'With The Beatles', you should start your journey from the beginning in chronological order, to experience the growth and change as they and their fans did growing up during that journey.
Several years ago, George Martin (who produced the Beatles work) decided to pull together the songs he was most fond of and asked several people to help him put together a CD of songs. It starts with Robin Williams singing "Come Together" and ends with Sean Connery singing "In My Life." Between these songs are other wonderful versions done by various artists (like the guitarist Jeff Beck, actress Goldie Hawn, comedian Jim Carry, and singer/musician, Phil Collins). The documentary (George Martin; In My Life) is on UA-cam...you would love it!
The song is about a funeral, it's a eulogy. The lyrics make sense when put into that prospective." Come together, over me." "hold you in his arms yeah, you can feel his disease" The "shp" sound throughout the song is the grave being dug.
Aerosmith redid this song in 1979 and Michael Jackson did it in the 1980's, too! Of course, the original is the best one, IMO! I love John's songs the best. Strawberry Fields Forever, I Am the Walrus, In My Life, Girl, I'm Only Sleeping, Dear Prudence...Paul wrote Eleanor Rigby, The Fool on the Hill, Hey Jude, Let It Be, Yesterday, Blackbird, Penny Lane...George wrote Taxman, Something, Here Comes the Sun, While my Guitar Gently Weeps...That's just a drop in the bucket for Beatle's tunes! They are all so good. Enjoy the journey!
The thing about the Beatles - their songs are so different one from another (Fleetwood Mac is like that too). There is such a wide variety of sounds, rhythms, patterns, and (in their later stuff) instruments.
Really enjoyed re-hearing this. I grew up a Beatles fan, but I never tire of their music because there is always something new to appreciate. Songs off of Revolver will are all worth a deeper dive.
When The Beatles came to America it was just crazy. Hence the name Beatlemania. The most thrilling thing to happen in the USA. We all went nuts. It was such a blast. Everything the Beatles do is different and fresh. I'm 65 and am still nuts over them ( especially McCartney ) Lennon was to odd for me. But none the less a genius. I was 8 yrs old when they went on the Ed Sullivan I almost lost my dam mind. I knew they would be forever the best.
You are starting later in their careers here, and chronology is important to understand where a song like "Come Together" came from. Nothing wrong with it, but you're starting the movie 20 minutes from the ending. Anyone serious about music, and I'm certainly not saying you aren't, owes it to themselves to start the Beatles catalog at the beginning and follow it all the way thorough!! You will be richly rewarded! They truly changed the world!! From the beautiful early ballads like "And I Love Her" up through great stuff like "Good Day Sunshine" and "Got to Get You Into My Life" on through the "acid period" with "A Day in The Life" and "Strawberry Fields" or "I am The Walrus" etc. then hitting the wonderful "White Album" and the sublime "Abbey Road" (where you are now) and finally, "Let it Be". Their body of work is quite large, and sometimes I forget about little nuggets, like the absolutely gorgeous "I Will" or the raw, gritty, gem "Happiness is a Warm Gun", and others, until I listen to entire albums. I was just reminded of those two while listening to The White Album just the other day. You Tube search "Beatles Rooftop Concert" for some pretty good live footage. There is not a lot of live footage of them around. Their early concerts were, unfortunately, scream fests with crazed teeny girls. Technology was not the same, and in the grand scheme of things, they were not with us for a long time, even though they put out quite a few albums. What a ride! We owe everything to those guys! ua-cam.com/video/NCtzkaL2t_Y/v-deo.html
It's funny watching these videos as it's almost like hearing the song afresh given the context, and yet I know this song so well. What struck me this time is how good Ringo's drumming is especially in the final section where the cymbals come to the fore. He had such a relaxed loping style that is so much part of The Beatles' sound and it really drives the finale. And of course Billy Preston's key's are something else. Just a fantastic song. As others have said, from this era check out 'Don't Let Me Down' and 'Get Back' from the rooftop concert - they're magic and Lennon and McCartney (respectively) at their finest as songwriters. Thanks for the reaction Wilburn!
Good luck. I have listened to the lyrics of many songs over the years. The best make you realize that the writer is a genius and the meaning expands with every hearing without ever getting old. This is one. The best I can figure is that each verse is an homage to his band mates as he imagines them looking down on him on the day of his funeral, but I have no idea.
This song like all Beatles songs are to make you smile, feel good. Good to listen to. This album with all songs is best heard straight through uninterrupted.
Lennon wrote this track and provided lead vocals and for me probably the best summary of his writing/performing style is 'bitter-sweet' . 'Come Together' is an excellent example of that. Glad you're getting into The Beatles extensive back catalog - some of their songs will stay with you for life
I’m a week late to this reaction but just subscribed after hearing it. Fun fact: The keyboards were played by the late great Billy Preston who the Beatles gave the honorary title of “the Fifth Beatle” and he was featured on many of their recordings (he is even credited on at least one). He was a black gay man who did not hide it from his friends and colleagues but could not be open to the public at the time. He had a few hit singles of his own in the 70’s but was respected and sought after by all the most renowned musicians of the 60’s through the 90’s.
I'm not aware that any of the Beatles credited Billy as the 5th Beatle. Paul McCartney is on tape as saying George Martin was the 5th Beatle however......which I think most people would agree with as he played and arranged scores for them and produced and recorder nearly all their songs. The way he recorded them attributes to their fantastic sound.
Understanding the Beatles drummer (Ringo) in proper context.... He was the very first drummer to create beats for rock music at such a high profile. Drummers before him were extremely docile. Ringo had to invent the beats with every song. Also, nearly every drummer after him held him in the highest respect and pushed themselves to be recognized by him..... most of them were remarkable and they all had a blast creating music that had never been done before. Fortunately for us several drummers emerged with the drive and passion of Michael Jordan/Kobe Bryant in performing - studio and LIVE! What blessing!!!
Loved Micheal Jackson's cover too. The Beatles are one of my favourite bands together with Queen, Jamiroquai, Coldplay, Kings of Leon, Kool and the Band, Scissors Sisters, Abba, Gap Band ....my music taste varies.
Start with the early period" She Loves You; I Should have Known Better; If I Fell; Day Tripper' Middle Period: In My Life; A Day in the Life Late period: Let it be; Back in the USSR Across the Universe
Now this is a rabbit hole you will NEVER climb out of.
Simply the greatest band in history, they changed everything.
It's impossible to get the "gist" of the Beatles. They NEVER repeated themselves. They were fresh with everything new they came out with.

Maybe you would want to give a tribute to John Lennon, today he would have been 80th birthday. Happy Heavenly Birthday JL.‼😎🎼
anything from the Beatles is amazing.
You need to go back to the early days because you went right to the last era they were together, I FEEL FINE /A HARD DAYS NIGHT / Norwegian wood /HELP / Drive My Car/,,Taxman / Tomorrow Never Knows /She Sad She Said // Sgt Peppers LH Club Band / Lucy INTSW Diamonds / Hello Goodbye /Baby YOuR A Rich MAN / I AM THE Walrus// Dear Prudence / Happiness Is A Warm Gun /Helter Skelter //Something / I Want You.... I know you cannot react to everything but it is an example that is in a year to year order if you want to hear the real progression..
They really changed the world, and not only the music.
Revolution No. 9 was not enjoyable.😜
He is still around, for example ua-cam.com/video/PJXGT6FAj_w/v-deo.html Youncan also find concerts and interviews he has done this year. Is that really a debate you have?
Top selling musicians of all time.
There was so much going on in the 60's, the world was tired of the old order.
People wanted change, a number of groups came to the forefront and put in
there 2 cents worth.
THE ROOFTOP in London was about the only live performance they did after 66
NICE DAWG I think they performed live on TV once or twice too, but as far as actual concerts go, the rooftop is the only one
@@beatlesgirl2782 Yea it could have been Revolution and All you Need Is Love .
NICE DAWG Hey Jude as well
Love them or hate the Beatles The one fact is that we are still talking about the Beatles 51 years after they split up .... That's proof in itself
This song is a masterpiece- Ringo’s drums, Paul’s bass , George on slide guitar and John’s vocals and words. Remember this was 1968. They influenced all future groups.
One of my all time favorite Beatles songs is “Hey Bulldog”
I love that song(It very underrated for how good it is)
Macca never gets the credit for his sumptous basslines, one of the greatest bassmen of the lot.
Good Beatles songs" "And I Love Her," "All My Loving," "I Want to Hold Your Hand," "It Won't Be Long," "Revolution," "Don't Let Me Down" and many others.
the beatles have so many songs and their music covers so many DIFFERENT GENRES it's unbelievable
ok 👍 The Beatles... Hey Jude; Don't let me down, Get Back, All you need is love , Obladi Oblada, Let it be, many more 😄 of course they have huge list of hit songs...😇🤗
Just under 300 songs
Those six tracks are very accessible and also they are some of my favorite Beatles tunes.
“ Eleanor Rigby” is a great song about loneliness and neglect.
There will never be another, never m
I've always liked the fact that The Beatles' music was impossible to categorize - Rock? not quite Pop? not really Unique? yes.
They themselves called it "Beatle music" from time to time.
They didn’t stick to one style anyway.
We're listening too and you're doing a fine job.
Also did you know Beatles music was outlawed in Soviet Union and therefore was snuggled in played a big part of changing their culture into a more modern progressive government from what it once was.
every Beatle album is different from the one before, always evolving in their music
My suggestion as a 63-year old lifelong #1 fan of the Beatles, for you:
1.) "She Loves You", 1963
2.) "No Reply", 1965 (my favourite)
3.) The legendary "Rooftop Performance" in 1969, the last time the four of them played live together.
One of my favorite Beatles songs 🎵 Other greats of theirs are Help!, Eleanor Rigby, Hey Jude, Can't Buy Me Love, Eight Days a Week & Yesterday🔥🔥🔥
Think of this timeless song title: "Come Together". The message is ageless.
Hi I’m going to throw something out to you: this song, “Come Together” played by an awesome current Texas Blues Man, who has amazing stage presence, no auto tune, named Gary Clark, Jr. 😎
Yes! The Gary Clark version was used in the promotional materials for "Justice League" in 2017.
Dear prudence, rain, here there and everywhere....
The Beatles were voted in as the top band of all time for years. The Rolling Stones were always runner up to them.
It's exciting to experience how much peace and love and togetherness is being shared in our world today!
React to "A day in the life." My all time fave beatles song.
The Beatles - the best band ever full stop. The always reset the bar with each album they produced setting the trend for other s to follow. That's why they were so good.
I came out of the womb loving them. Thank God!!
The Beatles changed the world!!!
It's important for new generations to discover the Beatles and how they bend reality with amazingness.
I was part of the Drill Team in High School. We did a routine to this song during half-time at a basketball game
What fun! What memories!
Thanks W! Will also recommend Don't Let Me Down. Superb vocals and a great great song!
The fifth Beatle was really George Martin!
A quick look at Wikipedia for 'the 5th Beatle' might increase your knowledge about the issue: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fifth_Beatle
So yes, my opinion about this (and it was my opinion) may be debatable, but some stuff you say it's just not true.
The Washington Post explained their subsequent meeting:
They'd hook up again in 1969, when the Beatles were about to break up while recording the last album they released, Let It Be (they would later record Abbey Road, which was released prior to Let It Be). George Harrison, a friend of Preston, had quit, walked out of the studio and gone to a Ray Charles concert in London, where Preston was playing organ. Harrison brought Preston back to the studio, where his keen musicianship and gregarious personality temporarily calmed the tension.[7]
Preston is one of several people referred to as the "Fifth Beatle".
@@anthonyblakely399 there was no Wikipedia in the 70s, but I'm not continuing this.
Greetings from a fellow Fab4 fan! 👍
So many songs to choose from. Check out A Day in a Life, Strawberry Fields Forever, and Across the Universe.
The stuff you hear in the background is the four of them recreating their club years. They loved spontaneity and surprise in their recordings. That is why they never seem tired, phony, or too polished.
Oh, Blackbird! I love many Beatles songs but Blackbird is the one for me. Followed very closely by I Am the Walrus!
They're soo great. we are forgetting these were 50+ years ago. The culture was different in the music world and even now when you listen to their songs you can still relate and think they are recent songs.
This was the first single I bought by the Beatles. Definitely one of my faves.
The great Billy Preston on keyboard.
Everyone loved Billy.
Not only recorded with the Beatles but toured with the Stones as well.
GOAT . The competition between Lennon and McCartney was UNBELIEVABLE! What was cool too, when in the studio they would cheer each other on. They wrote songs in all styles. A personal favorite is "Rain" where the lead guitar is PAUL'S BASS!!! Side note: Lennon went home to listen to demoon thereel to reel
tape recorder and put tape in backwards.
React to Dont let me down. The Beatles on the rooftop
Ringo's drums. Wow! Understated genius.
The Beatles brought a seismic change to music in America they were a catalyst for the 60s Revolution
BTW, it's so nice to see a young person enjoying the Beatles for the first time and actually listening to their music all the way through without stopping and starting the track and commenting every 20 seconds. THAT is the way to listen to any music for the first time.
Most of the channels do it because of copright. I dont blame them, but you are right 😊
I’d been listening to my albums on John’s birthday. It’s hard to believe they started with great music - She Loves You, Please Please Me, right through to this and my fav album - Let It Be. No other band has done this. Hope everyone enjoys it. It’s it great discovering ‘new’ music.
The Beatles...nough said! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 The Beatles were game changers in the 60’s, as Zeppelin was for the 70’s.
SAME THOUGHT ABOUT THE DRUM BREAK ,,,,,,sets the mood
'With The Beatles', you should start your journey from the beginning in chronological order, to experience the growth and change as they and their fans did growing up during that journey.
There is no live performance by the Beatles this song is from the Beatles last recorded album
John did one solo-ly.
there is actually
Let It Be songs on the rooftop were live.
You: I really want to really dissect The Beatles and what made them so great.
Jump cut
You in 30 years: ok, I’m starting to get it now.
Masterclass of drums.
Respect is beautiful
The Beatles were the greatest recording act in the history of music greatest thing since the great Masters
Loved Micheal Jackson's cover too. The Beatles are one of my favourite bands together with Queen, Jamiroquai, Coldplay, Kings of Leon, Kool and the Band, Scissors Sisters, Abba, Gap Band ....my music taste varies.
The Beatles Run For your Life
This whole album is fabulous, especially Something, which was a rare George Harrison song. I LOVE THE BEATLES‼️♥️
Abby Road...a must have GENIUS must have album. Side two will blow your mind!!
Paul’s bass line on this song is truly sublime 🔥
Start with the early period" She Loves You; I Should have Known Better; If I Fell; Day Tripper' Middle Period: In My Life; A Day in the Life Late period: Let it be; Back in the USSR Across the Universe
