Oh, #FamilyCourt . The #virginiabeach #juvenilecourt in #Virginia recently issued an Order regarding #GuardianAdLitem reports in contested #custody and #visitation cases. I'll attach the Order in the comments. What do you think?
Another #familylawyer I talked to said that it seemed like a good way of keeping bad reports and bad lawyering hidden more effectively. #transparency is vitally important, especially in cases with a #narcissist, abuser, or otherwise #highconflict #coparent. Besides, orders can be placed under seal or parents who behave inappropriately - sharing on #socialmedia, like the order mentions, for example - specifically sanctioned without removing EVERY parent's right to have a copy of the GAL report that was prepared about their case, dealing with their children, and paid for with their money.
