Mike greater video well presented I have V60 r design burgundy red and I love it actually Volvo is under rated car but far better than other car , I have driven BMW, merc, wolkswagon , etc Volvo is far better thanks for your video hope people will try Volvo car for good
You can turn off the Start/Stop, not only safer to have it off, but saves a lot of wear and tear of the battery and engine, especially in cold weather , living in a busy city with a lot of start/stop driving with the engine cold, will reduce the engine and battery life considerably.
colinf1951 You should find the start/stop function doesn’t cut in when the engine is cold for that particular reason, it will only start working when the engine and oil temperatures are correct so as not to cause damage!

Clicking 5 times just to change the temperature is a no go for me. If Volvo is so much about safety why don’t they leave physical buttons for some functions.

Start stop sucks. Good job calling it out. Hoping that Volvo introduces a soft hybrid system that makes the feature truly imperceptible.
That said, I recent rented an XC60 (2019) and turned off the system via the touch screen. Once turned off, it STAYED off, I didn’t have to do that every time I started the car. Good job Volvo.

Liked the review and the car. It's on the short list but believe I'll wait until Polestar is on the roads. Volvo's EV SUV is coming this summer so choices are looking interesting.
S60 is first on my list for ICE vehicles. I like their interiors the most and those seats, wow. Looks like 4 cylinders have progressed quite a bit since I purchased my last car 12 years ago so I don't consider that a negative anymore as a 8 speed auto fixes a lot. Polestar is tops for an EV but want to see Volvo's entry before deciding.
Decided against buying Tesla because of poor quality control.

Most reviewers don't mention the fact how long it takes for the Sensus system to boot up. How much time does it take to run AC when you enter the car? Or play the radio?
This one was near instant as far as I could tell.

How should he drive??? The start stop in the Volvo does suck. Its very rough not smooth at all. How you drive has nothing to do with it.
Funny that, when I worked for Volvo, every car I drove with the stop & go system was always smooth and never a problem. To be honest even after all the cars I’ve driven in my life I’ve never found a nicer car to drive than ANY Volvo.
Engine is trash
Americans and stop start.. it's really not difficult.
