Ur here texture looks a lot like mine and I’m in my starter loc phase so ur journey will give a more realistic visual outcome. I’m happy to have found u, I am also aware that my hair will always do it’s own thing. I’m so happy about the level of freedom my hair gets to be all it can with locs. Power to the loc journey 🥰🤩🥳
Castor oil is all I use too Idk. That's what my hair likes to each its own. Love your Locs ♥ I have thick Locs and a lot of them are flat I been thinking about palm rolling but feel like all the rubbing friction will break my hair (I have very fine strands).
Sorry about your drive :( Before reading your description I already thought "I like her intro!" lol you did good! Great video too I enjoy your videos a lot!
Use 2 mirrors sis 😂 I always have one in the front & one in the back. for this video tho I used my phone as the “mirror” in the back. thank you for watching 💕
i’m about to start my journey and was wondering if there’s any specific shampoo i shouldn’t or shouldn’t use? is it okay for me to still use the shampoo & conditioner i use on my loose natural hair? how often do y’all wash your locs? should i retwist every time i wash? sorry to bombard with questions
I have a question 😭 I’m one month Loc’d & I retwisted my hair on the 18th, & today I looked at my retwist & they looked good so I decided to spritz water on them to hydrate my babies & they immediately started unraveling- do u think it’s because I put too much water or was I supposed to wait for a while to moisturize my hair
I personally don’t think there is any time period you should wait before spritzing your hair. Unraveling is completely normal especially with in the first couple of months since your hair hasn’t loc’d yet! Just keep retwisting them! They will stop unraveling eventually
Hey Tay! I've had my locs in for 3 months & just tried to do my retwist for the first time w/o going to a salon. I STRUGGLED w retwisting the back because I couldn't see my parts and was scared that I was putting the wrong loose hairs into the wrong loc. Do you have any tips for retwisting your hair at this stage? Also how long would you say your retwist lasts for?
Hey boo 💜 try using two mirrors to retwist. I have one in front of me & one behind me sort of at an angle so that I can see the back of my head. I say to make sure your hair is wet when retwisting & to use minimal product. I use water & oil l! My retwist s usually don’t last to long! 3 weeks max!!
Please try @freetheroots. I'm not even trying to press you. I'm @melanin.moet on Instagram and I just followed you. I'm frfr trying to bless you with this shampoo lol.
