Subscribed. Thank you Wally and Dr. Carlos for giving the time and providing information on what is required, I am a new hobbyist trying to do the right thing 😎👍
1. What would streamline this process is have the “very short list of approved isopods” prefilled out on the permit for us so we just need to enter the destination state(s) and our information. 2. Note that Florida’s list is extremely short and even after getting the permits they make you prove you are identifying the species correctly through voucher proof.
thanks so much for the informative convo! and Carlos seems like a genuinely great guy, his job sounds like a lot of work and hes helping out so many people
Thanks Moon. Sorry for the echoing. We explained in the beginning that we were having technical difficulties and I decided it would be better to move forward with inconvenience rather than postponing.
Hi! This was super informative but I was looking at the description in the live stream and can’t find a link to all of the QAs you guys did during this stream? I checked your website and didn’t see anything on there that looked like a link to the document?
Thank you for asking. I did post this several times after updating but forgot to add back to this video. I just included it in the description. Thanks again for bringing this up.
Wonderful Stream! Very informative. Question, when available, where will we be able to find the documentation and material from the stream? (questions, answers, environmental statements, etc.)
Thank you!!! Unfortunately I've already submitted my application for the permits and unfortunately Carlos already had to tell me to fix one or two things. But this vid definitely answered some other questions I had. Watching this did raise some questions though......it sounds like we ARE legally able to own species not on the list. Just not move it across state lines. But how are people legally obtaining them in the first place? I mean, other than finding them in the wild.
You are very welcome. Carlos is an amazing person and so very helpful. Your question about how people without permits obtaining the isopods in the first place..... It is best to ask them ;)

@@SupremeGecko I was hoping to hear what I heard about Cubaris, but was rather surprised anyway! Lots of excellent clarifications.
