I'm pre-hyping myself up by watching Fasnacht videos and such, and I just wanted to let you know a good handful of these tips - I didn't even know/think of! 5:11 I just learned recently that if you have crusader pistol and pyro receiver for it, it heals robots aswell and works in Radiation Rumble too to heal the workers. Explosive legendary effect for splash area healing. Been playing since day 1 and always learn something new.
I don't know how many times I've played this event so far, but what I will say is that I didn't get my first rare item until one of the bots got destroyed. When this event was reinstated, I kept getting the same masks that I already own from the previous seasons (I got the sun mask at least 3 times in a row) and plans I already know. Then two days ago, I joined this event, a bot got destroyed (don't know how it happened), and at the end I got my first rare mask and plans I never owned.
Word needs to get to Bethesda: post a sign in town stating, “SLOW DOWN and let everyone tag the Boss creature at the end!” There’s always about 18 minutes left; it’s not a race.
It wouldn't be so bad if it always spawned in the same location. More often than not, I miss tagging the boss because I guess wrong and by the time I figure it out and go to the other location, it is over.
So killing the enemies doesn’t end the event any quicker except at the very end, it feels like it’s on a timer so if ya kill in 10 seconds or a minute it’s the same, but if it takes too long it will slow down the end of the event. That’s why when it’s killed super fast you will stand around for a few seconds, can loot the body and such if it takes longer seems like the burn him part starts immediately and sometimes you can’t get to the body to loot before the event is over. Fine balance, no one needs to one shot, but if ya wanna make it to another event ya can’t let it drag on to long either
These tips are just general common sense. As a veteran player this is all stuff that ive known. However, it's still RNG which means even if you work your hardest and do the best you can possibly do, you still might (0.236%-estimated) get a rare mask. Or probably just get a beret. It really is random. Afks will likely end up with rare masks and they didn't even have to do any of the work 🤷 Also here's hoping no one takes offense to this. It was a good video and I did learn a thing or two but generally this is all stuff I already knew. And it's an invaluable video for new players. ✌️

Merry Fasnacht! Yes it does, but not everyone has first. So they need to know where to go. I went over that it was scrap and could be stored and pulled out prior to the event. Last year was the first year I couldn’t get my tent placed unless running far away and all the houses didn’t have scrap box so I had to last minute go get over 30 wood. Stopped be from getting to the second event😓. GL at Fasnacht!

The one before last year, last day first game crashes before event ends.. Couldn't get back in the game after ten minutes, kept freezing every time i tried joining a server. Soon as i do, all day and night on the last day i get gob masks but my friend gets the loon mask his first game. But last year the first event i did for it, i got was the hag mask. So hopefully this fasnacht will be better.
1. You have to keep all robots alive in order to get a rare mask this provides tips to do this 2. The more events you complete with all 5 robots means more drops, more drops means higher likelihood of getting a rare mask 3. Getting the event finished fast means you can run the event a second and possibly third time every hour. This video gives advanced tips on how to do just that. If you can only participate 5x a night might as well make it 10-15x instead. 5x for 14 days=70 completed events or you could run it the same and get 140+ runs it’s up to u. GL, only a few days left now🥰

I swap between my characters and mules. Each year, I've been lucky. By getting a rare one. I suggest you farm them on your lowest levels too. Increase your luck, and good luck.
@@addictiongaming76 I'd like to suggest a decent melee weapon too. I've been there. When they've bugged out after getting nuked. So the only thing that seemed to work was hitting the glitched ones. So they could continue marching.
@reb5824 this has not mattered I’ve done three toons and tried all the “things” players said helped and none of it mattered. Literally created a new character and I got not one rare mask after running more than 100 events. Not having any masks on you character to carrying all the masks you don’t want to get to increase ur drop chances. This is more a superstition as it is still RNG. Also, 100% as confirmed by Bethesda luck does not help with ur drop chances for rare items, except for perfect pie. If ur superstitious, do whatever makes you happy.🥰

The first one i did was during a nuclear event someone launched a nuke on the town and i got a glowing mask. Doubt any of those were a factor in getting the glowing mask though.
This is my favourite event, but I agree with those who point out that it's too easy. I haven't done any of the things listed here (except being there early, plus other players sometimes hoard objects), yet all robots survived for me each event, each year. Actually, I prefer not to hoard intestines and others, since it's more fun to collect them during the event, mixing the tasks. Like, killing small pests while searching for glasses. One thing I never thought about is switching servers after the event. Though they end so fast, no matter which hour of the day, I haven't seen one dragging long, nor one where I would have been the only player. In fact, if I'm not right before the ceremony master at the top of the hour, if I don't run afterwards around like crazy or if I blink once, the others find and complete all challenges. That's why I'm there on time and then run like crazy.

Great video but my ADHD is keeping me from fully grasping every thing. Would you type out a list of everything we need to collect during the even like 50 wood 10 steins Etc.
pro-tip: - bring a flaming chainsaw, molotovs, and nuka grenades - equip friendly fire, grenadier, and demolition - when the mobs start arriving spam nuka grenades - when they get too close, use chainsaw - when robots get damaged, chainsaw them - you're too far when they get damaged, throw molotovs at them
I will not use grenades at a packed event, which is why you will never get tips to upset the entire server. If ur on ur own server do whatever makes u happy! GL at the event!🥰🥰🥰
Stock up on those XP buffs! Squirrels-Tasty squirrel Stew for carnivores, canned meat stew, cranberry relish, cranberry cobbler. Increase your intelligence with buffs too.

Top of the hour, it’s never been every 20 minutes in the last 4 or 5x I’ve played this event. If it was every 20 mins I can only imagine how quickly players would burn out. I say thank goodness it’s not🤗
Just a theory if u nuke fasnacht the enemies will glow I wonder if it would increase your chances of a glowing reward the glowing mask are crazy to get ?
So, because most players don’t have access to their stash box and most of them can’t/won’t FT with that much wood I have to give alternatives to help those players out. The obvious choice is a tent and pull from scrap, but if ya don’t have that you need to get it done quickly😉 so those players need a back up plan
What the heck is that weapon? It looks like a Union flamer or something. Wait, THAT's the Holy Fire? I've used a flamer before, but that one is so unfamiliar.
Also watch out for camps that have turrets and are near the parade because last fasnacht the turrets would target the robots for whatever reason I had a few failed events and when I tried to join a new world I would get stuck in a black screen after loading or just a frozen screen 😢😅

Griefer camp for sure. What they're doing is they have a friend activate PvP with them and they charge into the robots, then their buddy's turrets will fire at him, damaging and killing the robots. Works on Player camps as well.

Its because of the lack of any balance regarding the event. Fastnacht is old legacy content that has been unchanged since its release except for the loot tables. When playing solo it can be interesting (but not 10 times) - it becomes the opposite on a well populated server. Too many players, all objectives instantly completed, low enemy numbers and NPC TTK is too short. The options at this point are AFKing or not attending the event at all. The slow movement speed of the protectrons turns it into a task as exciting as watching paint dry.
Congrats to you! More than likely someone has been healing them. I got home late and popped into one and as I loaded in all the robots were alive, but the people playing weren’t paying attention and the super mutants killed one so I had to leave. I was still waiting for my armor and perk cards to load in as I was still barely walking. I heal the robots almost every event. Take care
This is only the second year I’ve never nuked the event and rewards are rubbish. I’m getting black screen and trouble getting back on just before the event and it’s happened twice today. Nuke = bonus meat for mixing with flux 🎉 I carry 50 wood on me for well before the event starts to speed things up.
Not everyone has friends, but yes def helps!!! Divide and conquer! I try to go from perspective in most of my videos no FO 1st and playing alone. Everything else is a bonus🤗🥰 GL at the event, hope you get something you want!🥰🥰🥰
Sorry you can do it ! Just bring 50 wood scrap ( no bulk ) with you and dump it if that task comes up... i've done it at least 6 or 7 times this wk (worked every time)✌️🙂 Now the masks.... looks like glowing only and still the old Deathclaw, Raven, Old Man Winter & Old Man Winter (P.A) and whatever the rare ones were for last year are worth any real value. All of the uncomon masks from this year are showing up in players' vending machines for 1K - 2K caps Also, how many of you players got the Scorchbeast Stein plan ? .....and/or the Heardsman Bell Rack plan ? .....and is there only one type of bell ? Have fun & don't forget the wood 😉

So I was searching the entire asylum over and over and found an extra location where dresses spawn but super uncommon in the process lol. It's on the ghoul side and I found several in a corner on medical equipment.
I dont get the hate against afkers. The drop chances are so abymsal. I've done around 100 events and have only gotten a regular alien mask for rare rewards. I only afk for work and sleep but when i do participate i cant help anyway because of the 2-4 high level guys spamming nuka grenades and the green, blue, and purple explosives that literally fill my screen to the point that i cant see anything but explosions. Plus the event is so easy that ive solo'd it as a level 82 with an okay roll light machine gun
If u can run the event more than once in a hour and assure ur robots don’t die it will greatly increase your odds🫣😉. However, this drop rate is brutal so I feel ya! GL in the event!🥰🥰🥰
As my first time I wish I could say it’s fun buts it’s the most buggiest event so far for me I’ve lagged out 4 times at the end to lose the reward like wtf

Anyone noticing low levels getting better masks. I tested it on my low level and I got better chance at a rare mask than I did with my high level. I got 2 fiends a demon, a winterman.. as vs a bunch of sun masks 😂

It’s a task to complete every event to have intestines. In between events I like hoping servers to farm beeswax which breaks down into acid. Great way to farm acid.

unless they recently changed it the Enclave flamer with Beta wave tuner or the refined Beta wave tuner works with friendly fire.

The drop rate on glowing masks is garbage! Ive done almost every event since it started, on 2 accounts, not one glowing mask! What is the secret?
Run multiple events every hour, but no guarantees as those are not the only rare masks GL!

The first one i did was during a nuclear event someone launched a nuke on the town and i got a glowing mask. Doubt any of those were a factor in getting the glowing mask though.

This is my favourite event, but I agree with those who point out that it's too easy. I haven't done any of the things listed here (except being there early, plus other players sometimes hoard objects), yet all robots survived for me each event, each year. Actually, I prefer not to hoard intestines and others, since it's more fun to collect them during the event, mixing the tasks. Like, killing small pests while searching for glasses.
One thing I never thought about is switching servers after the event. Though they end so fast, no matter which hour of the day, I haven't seen one dragging long, nor one where I would have been the only player. In fact, if I'm not right before the ceremony master at the top of the hour, if I don't run afterwards around like crazy or if I blink once, the others find and complete all challenges. That's why I'm there on time and then run like crazy.
Ur server is the exact one I’m hoping to find if u run around and do everything instead of being prepared then u will be at the toads when I start server hoping. GL I hope you get something awesome!😉🥰🥰🥰

pro-tip:
- bring a flaming chainsaw, molotovs, and nuka grenades
- equip friendly fire, grenadier, and demolition
- when the mobs start arriving spam nuka grenades
- when they get too close, use chainsaw
- when robots get damaged, chainsaw them
- you're too far when they get damaged, throw molotovs at them

Top of the hour, it’s never been every 20 minutes in the last 4 or 5x I’ve played this event. If it was every 20 mins I can only imagine how quickly players would burn out. I say thank goodness it’s not🤗

I just being 50 pieces of wood with me from my stash so if that's an option, way faster.
So, because most players don’t have access to their stash box and most of them can’t/won’t FT with that much wood I have to give alternatives to help those players out. The obvious choice is a tent and pull from scrap, but if ya don’t have that you need to get it done quickly😉 so those players need a back up plan

Cremator + Grenadier + Friendly Fire makes it impossible for the robots to die. You can easily solo the event with this combination.
Yeah literally don’t need a cremator that’s overkill, unless ur running the event with 3 or less players

How do any of these tips increase your odds of getting rare masks?
I explain faster ur done faster u can get to the next event. Allowing u to double, triple, and on occasion even quadruple dip. GL
Also watch out for camps that have turrets and are near the parade because last fasnacht the turrets would target the robots for whatever reason I had a few failed events and when I tried to join a new world I would get stuck in a black screen after loading or just a frozen screen 😢😅

Griefer camp for sure. What they're doing is they have a friend activate PvP with them and they charge into the robots, then their buddy's turrets will fire at him, damaging and killing the robots. Works on Player camps as well.

Its because of the lack of any balance regarding the event. Fastnacht is old legacy content that has been unchanged since its release except for the loot tables. When playing solo it can be interesting (but not 10 times) - it becomes the opposite on a well populated server. Too many players, all objectives instantly completed, low enemy numbers and NPC TTK is too short.
The options at this point are AFKing or not attending the event at all. The slow movement speed of the protectrons turns it into a task as exciting as watching paint dry.

Congrats to you! More than likely someone has been healing them. I got home late and popped into one and as I loaded in all the robots were alive, but the people playing weren’t paying attention and the super mutants killed one so I had to leave. I was still waiting for my armor and perk cards to load in as I was still barely walking. I heal the robots almost every event. Take care

This is only the second year I’ve never nuked the event and rewards are rubbish. I’m getting black screen and trouble getting back on just before the event and it’s happened twice today. Nuke = bonus meat for mixing with flux 🎉 I carry 50 wood on me for well before the event starts to speed things up.
Pro tip. Play with friends and each has one or more junk items needed. We routinely finish early then jump to an unfinished event.
Not everyone has friends, but yes def helps!!! Divide and conquer! I try to go from perspective in most of my videos no FO 1st and playing alone. Everything else is a bonus🤗🥰 GL at the event, hope you get something you want!🥰🥰🥰
I have the worst luck, only got the regular blue devil mask and regular hunny bee mask. Everything else just repeats from years before.

So I was searching the entire asylum over and over and found an extra location where dresses spawn but super uncommon in the process lol. It's on the ghoul side and I found several in a corner on medical equipment.

I dont get the hate against afkers. The drop chances are so abymsal. I've done around 100 events and have only gotten a regular alien mask for rare rewards. I only afk for work and sleep but when i do participate i cant help anyway because of the 2-4 high level guys spamming nuka grenades and the green, blue, and purple explosives that literally fill my screen to the point that i cant see anything but explosions. Plus the event is so easy that ive solo'd it as a level 82 with an okay roll light machine gun

Anyone noticing low levels getting better masks. I tested it on my low level and I got better chance at a rare mask than I did with my high level. I got 2 fiends a demon, a winterman.. as vs a bunch of sun masks 😂

Why do I want extra meat?
It’s a task to complete every event to have intestines. If u have them already you can complete the task in a second, which will help the event to go faster and can lead to you being able to hop servers and running the event a second time if ur lucky
