When i press on messeges and i look under the SMS/MMS it just says: Show Subject Field, Character count and Blocked. Nothing else. Please help!

To always have access to pass iMessages should you never Delete any messages off of your phone. The second question is if I do delete all messages off of my phone and they are backed up to iCloud can I search for a message and then will message scroll or show me pass messages from the cloud?
For me, on the iMessage app icon, it doesn’t show how many new messages I have, so I have to go into the app and check. Any help?

On my iPhone 7 there is no MMS settings available. Only SMS.
Why would that be? It was the same on my iPhone 6s also and probably my iPhone 4.
I live in the Philippines if that might have something to do with it

Where are messages "saved" - or where do they go so, I can have a list of messages I want to keep. Is there a place where there are a List of all your messages? I wanted to just send them to msn email and place them in a folder - but that doesn't seem to work. Thanks for your help on this issue!

It is available on an iPhone 6s. Go into the Settings App>Messages>scroll down to bottom, you should see the option to turn on/off MMS. Thanks. ;0

Thanks for the sub! Unfortunately there is no way to mark a message thread as unread once you have read it. I love that feature in the Mail app, they should add it to Messages! You can make suggestions to Apple through this link: www.apple.com/feedback

Hypothetical situation:. If I'm in a group chat and accidentally turn on "do not disturb" then accidentally delete the group chat thing to text to it, how would I fix that? How would I fix that purely hypothetical situation not at all based on my current situation?
If you delete the thread, it is gone. If you have a backup of your iOS device, then you can restore from that backup and all message threads as of the date of backup will be restored.

How do I put a pic on the background instead of the plain white in messages
Sorry, you can't change the background color. There are some third party apps you can purchase to send colored background messages (search the App Store "color text messages"). You can however add some fun effects to messages called Screen Effects. These came out with iOS 10, see our video ua-cam.com/video/Kx4QQiqinGM/v-deo.html. Set up for iphone 7 plus . click Passwords & Acouns , icloud , icloud , Messages ( turn on ) .Good luck .
If you are in a situation where you pay for data, but have free sms, it could make sense to deaktivate iMessage (so you use sms instead of data, though the data amount is small for normal text). Also if you for some reason switch your SIM-card to an Android, you also want to deaktivate iMessage before then. Else you will no longer receive messages from Apple devices on your Android.
