Great walk as ever Dave. I understand St Wite's well is actually only run-off from the hill, not an actual spring. So probably just as well you and Logan weren't tempted! John
Beautiful scenery and views. What lovely weather you had for that walk. Have walked up to the top of Golden Cap but only from the car park below! Visited Stonebarrow a couple of times too, but the narrow road up is a bit scary, especially when we are in our van!
I’ve never walked up Golden Cap, but my sister and brother in law, who live in Lyme, have often done it. The views were magnificent, aided very much by the cloud formations. You certainly picked the right day. Good light and very little wind. I doubt if the views are quite as green today! Congratulations on a fine video.
Wow. Nice work Mr Logan, spectacular cinematography, yer mate Dave's Gopro seems to work quite well... I'm still thinking of saving up for an SLR type thingy, but what would I know? Have a crunch on some dry toast, you'll love it. Thank you both.
Thank you. I am quite pleased with the Gopro 10 now - the image stabilization is so good that you don't need a gimbal & the picture quality is fine (although it is no good in poor light!). I am thinking of investing in a camcorder that is good in low light so that I can take decent footage when I am filming inside (usually a church which normally not that well lit).
Another fantastic video of well researched history and beautiful countryside with an added sprinkling of Logan moments! I loved how seriously Logan was listening to your tale at St Gabriel's Chapel! Somewhere near Chardown Hill is a path intriguingly named the Smuggler's path - did you come across that on your return route? Thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable video!!
Thanks Dave - lovely video. I was in beautiful Dorset last week and managed to walk up Colmers Hill . Not as high as Golden Cap but still lovely views. Also walked some of Hell Lane, but ran out of time so couldn't do all of it. Do you have any plans to walk there in the future?
Once again Dave, a beautiful walk with magnificent scenery. Thank you so much for taking us along. Very best wishes from Australia.
Thank you Jack - glad you enjoyed it. Such a beautiful part of the Jurassic coast around there.
Another truly fabulous walk. I've walked Golden Cap a number of times and it's heavenly up there. Thank you for creating and sharing
Amazing walk ...... We felt the jubilation when you made it to the top of the hill.
Fabulous..... Thank you Dave and Logan!😊
Thank you Susan. It was a fair old climb to the top!
Dorset is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful countryside. Fantastic views from Golden Cap. Thank you Dave and Logan 😊
Thank you Cathy. :)
Tomorrow’s walk for us, can’t wait. Thanks Dave and Logan 😘
I hope that you have good weather for your walk! The views around there are amazing.
Another brilliant walk Dave, thank you.
Many thanks Jeff.
Beautiful walk and very informative. Thank you😊
Thank you Sharron & indeed thanks for watching.
It a gorgeous walk in the countryside
Thank you Keith.
Just back from another stay in Uplyme! Adding this walk to our 'next time' list!!!
It is a great walk - especially when the weather is good!
Just a beautiful walk Dave. Thank you for showing me some of your country. It is truly gorgeous. 👏🏻🇺🇸
Thank you Melissa. Some of the views along that part of the Jurassic Coast can be quite stunning for sure!
Great walk as ever Dave. I understand St Wite's well is actually only run-off from the hill, not an actual spring. So probably just as well you and Logan weren't tempted! John
Thanks John. I must admit that the water didn't look that clear!
Always a joy to watch. Thank you both for sharing with us your videos and walks. We will look forward to the next...❤️
Thank you. The climb to the top of Golden Cap was certainly worth the effort for the views!

Yes, the lane up to the National Trust car park at Stonebarrow is quite narrow with not many passing places.
Really enjoyed this video Dave - my favourite part of the world !
Thanks Ian. Some great views from the top of Golden Cap for sure. Thank you for watching.
Grew up surfing there it gets bigger surf in the winter!
I must do some more "Winter" walks in the series!

Thanks Lionel. Yes, I expect everything will be very "brown" at the moment!

Thanks Jean. No, I don't think that I spotted the Smuggler's Path - it certainly is an area steeped in "Smuggling history"!

Thanks Angela. I shall look to add Colmers Hill / Hell Lane to my list of walks for next year! Thank you for the recommendation.
