How Terry Bradshaw cannot be considered in the TOP 5 QUARTEBACKS of ALL TIME is beyond belief. HE LEAD 4 Teams to Superbowls on 6 years and WON ALL 4 !!! In an era when there was no protection for Quarterbacks or receivers. Late hits play after play, cheap shots, got his TEETH knocked out and still played with NO TEETH. I'm a super 70's steelers fan. My favorite was Lambert. My comment stands. He threw a ton of picks. His defense bailed him out constantly. Was he tough? Absolutely. But he made boneheaded decisions all the time. The guy threw 3 picks to Butkus when the man could barely walk. Bradshaw was great when he was on point, but all the greatness driving 99 yards doesn't mean squat when you give the other team the ball on the one yard line.
I much as I love Ben and even though he holds all the records , Bradshaw was by far the better QB he was always great when it counted, and the crazy bastard never slid when he ran, not only one of the greatest QB's ever but by far one of the toughest
I TOTALLY agree with you STEELERMAN. And remember, in the era that tough Terry played, there was no rule that when a QB slid, he was off-limits. That rule didn't come about till the sissy no-touching-the-quarterback Brady era. I've been watching pro football since '64..... Bradshaw threw absolutely THE prettiest spiral I've ever seen.🏈
