Marco was also a winner of a Finnish version of The Maskes Singer. He was under the name Tohtori. His performances were shocking and surprisingly good.
Avantasia and Edguy are my favorite groups. Avantasia in particular is great for the variety of guest artists, such as Marco, that Tobi gets for each album. Often times, Tobi has a particular singer in mind when he writes a song, so it's not just by chance that this song gives you some Nightwish vibes.
Avantasia is really good! I blind reacted to this entire album one day and heard this song and got excited because I could immediately tell it was Marco. Also, doesn't have Marco but if you are a fan of Within Temptation Avantasia made a song with Sharon on the same album and it is really good. It is called Isle Of Evermore.
Ah bonnie, nice to see someone else dipping further into Avantasia, if you enjoy a story based singer/album, then you cannae go wrong with these lads. Most if not all are concept albums, the first two are a story, the next couple are a story and so on and so forth. Brings in a lot of good talent help as well, like Catley and Jørn Lande for example. Hit a sweet tooth of mine and earned a sub, at'a go lassie!
@@maylovesmusic All our pleasure. If ya go wandering in the band further, the first stop would be: "Avantasia - The Scarecrow (The Flying Opera) live". Gives off one of Tobias best overall life performances, and hell, is just great wee artsy, lyrical goodness ya could want from metal.
I think you will love Ayreon also. Same concept as Avantasia; one composer who invites other musicians to participate. Ayreon’s composer, Arjen Lucassen (remember that name), did a guitar solo on the last album of Avantasia and visa versa. Start with The day that the world brakes down. After that, look for songs of one of the two live concerts: Ayreon Universe live. Floor Jansen and Marko Hietala sing here. The electric castle live and other tales.
@@maylovesmusic I second the Ayreon suggestion - and why don't we make it easy for you - you won't regret it ;o) The Day That The World Breaks Down: ua-cam.com/video/oFuMKdrzPqU/v-deo.html
