Mighty Michael(Michael Avi) performed Freddie King's "Hide Away" with Billy Davis on guitar (solo 3:26), guest Jeff Grand on guitar solo 2:37), Mark Croft on keys, Michael Berger on bass, and Sal Wilcher on drums. July 2, 2024.
Michael has been performing in metro Detroit since he was 7 years old and nationally since he was 8. Since he was 9 years old he has been performing with The Billy Davis Rhythm Machine Band on harp, guitar, and vocals. Michael has won many state and national nominations and awards, plus been selected as a youth scholar by both Pinetop Perkins Foundation and the international Society for the Preservation and Advancement of Harmonica. In 2023 he performed at the International Blues Challenge and at the King Biscuit Blues Festival.
