Bini didn't go through and actually glad Bini was given the ax off-screen by Simon. You have to understand those that go on the show are basically OWNED by Simon. The show only has one single function, to make Simon rich, If you make it to the semi-finals you are under contractual obligation to go on the road for traveling performances. Just like if you win and even are runner ups you are contractually obligated to perform 2 shows a day for a year with Simon getting rich! Anything that Simon and AGT has to offer anyone isn't healthy for them and sure the heck wouldn't be healthy for Shai or an elderly Bini which needs to sit back and enjoy his golden years, I hope and pray Simon's critique of Bini keeps people from getting bunnies because cute bunnies on youtube or tv give people unrealistic expectations and make life so much more difficult for us rescues that have to deal with all the bunny dumps.
@@jerrykorman520 Thanks for your comment, Jerry. I'm glad you brought this up about Got Talent because you're absolutely right and I don't know how many people are aware of this. I honestly don't watch the show at all. I just happened to see the talk about it within the rabbit community and thought it'd be a great opportunity to help others understand rabbit behaviour better. You mentioned cute bunnies on UA-cam contributing to rabbit dumping, I totally get it. But aren't there equally rabbit UA-camrs doing wonders in educating people on the proper care and commitment involved, and their work has in turn helped rabbits find their forever homes?
@@TheBunniesBrigade We have wonderful people on UA-cam that educate the public about rabbits, what they can do, and what your expectations should be. But we also have to be careful in doing so. Way too many people have unrealistic expectations going into getting a rabbit which usually ends up with me or another rescue out at 3 am trying to capture a dumped bunny in the park. Shai is in a good position to educate all his many, many viewers, but he needs to drive home the point very few rabbits are a Bini, and very few rabbit owners are Shai. The relationship Shai has with Bini is rare and most people will never experience it, And unfortunately when they don't get a Bini or that Shai/Bini relationship, it's us rescues picking up the pieces. AGT would never let Shai educate the viewers, it doesn't make Simon money and doesn't benefit Simon in any way. Going on a talk show, however, would be more open to letting Shai get the word out about all of this.
CanNOT tell you how refreshing it is to hear a positive reinforcement trainer/rabbit behaviorist advocating for rabbits as the intelligent, sweet companions they are. THANK YOU.
What you said at the end, "Every rabbit is unique" is spot one. Taking the time to learn what your rabbit likes, doesn't like, it's attitude, what scares it is extremely important. Once you know what makes your rabbit tick, will make life much easier, for both of you, the rabbit will pick up that your looking out for it, and will treat you as the body guard when they are in a strange environment, that they aren't sure of. Eg: my late Randell, she was a Lop, a real show off too, and attention seeker. First part of her life she was living with me at the airport, she didn't mind the aircraft noise, in fact she would sit by the window / glass sliding door, and watch them move about. She knew our aircraft, and she would greet the crew as they walked in the door. But there was one helicopter, that she didn't like because the way it thumped on the ground, she'd go to her spot or come right up next to me. Air shows too, she wanted to be the star attraction, until that helicopter started up. When I saw it I'd pick her up, she would settle down, and she wasn't frightened. But when we were on our own, if she'd go and seek refuge, no matter where we were inside outdoors, she would always make sure, she had me in her line of site for that added protection. Pixie, is my 2nd rabbit which I gave a home 18 months ago, she's settled down, knowing she has full roaming rights inside and the covered back yard during the day. She's learning the simple commands, and we have adjusted to each others habits, Pixie is less torilent to noise than Randell was. But we both got to learn what each other likes and don't like, and makes life much easier for both of us.
Thank you SO MUCH, Ava!! The channel’s so new, the subs will come in time… Your feedback makes me confident we’re heading in the right direction with our content though 😌
Absolutely, as prey animals they are hyper aware of their surroundings and apprehensive of everything. I think there are rare cases in domesticated rabbits though, where they can be more confident. Perhaps this is evolutionary or the way they were raised when they were young, or a combination of the 2. Was there anything in particular in Bini's body language that suggested to you that he was scared? I'd love to know if you caught something I didn't.
I was a handler for a "set trained" ie; movie and tv performing dog for several years. He's aged out and retired now but he was great at it and he still required a LOT of care and focus to keep him settled and on point and not distracted or overwhelmed. Including keeping distractions on set to a minimum, including letting him walk through a skill two or three times to get it dialed in, and including short on camera time followed by long rest and walk time before he was ready to go again. What people see on film is not what happens on set, its a few minutes out of hours of careful energy and focus management. Even with dogs being high energy predators they still need a lot of help and support and only a few dogs can do it with any degree of comfort.
Totally agree! Bini's been judged so harshly and I think it's incredible what he managed to accomplish in that setting. So brave, so smart, so focused!
I agree I think we really underestimate how distracting those kinds of environments can be for animals. Even just a busy park can be a whole lot to keep track of.
I’m glad you squared the behavior we saw. Honestly I didn’t think AGT was the right place for Bini. I’m autistic and that environment would fry my brain! Shai is a great guy, he loves and knows bini so well. I have no doubt about that.
I just found out that the preforms of Bini The Bunny was cut'n'edited in such a way as to make Bini and Shai look bad. The music was not Bini's music. They used that music to make a laugh of little Bini. There are many things that don't add up. Good example, they only show Bini in front of the piano, but there is a picture of Bini with his paws on top of the piano as Shai gives him a treat. Why didn't they show Bini playing the piano? Also Bini was to end his preforms by ring a little gold bell. Where was that? Cut out. Why? Shai also just posted on Facebook that Bini was not afraid. Bini was just curious about the stage and was more interested in exploring than preforming. I know how curious bunnies area. I have two little bunnies and they are curious about anything and everything in my bedroom. There is something rotten on America's Got Talent and it has Simply Simon The Dishonest Pie Man's name all over it.
Yes, they certainly have the power to either make you look amazing or terrible in the editing room. I wonder if he perhaps nailed the dress rehearsal and maybe some of those moments you saw were the dress. Either way, they definitely made Bini out to be one of those laughable acts 😒
@@TheBunniesBrigade The interesting thing is Shai has a very good routine with Bini. First Bini does a little circle, then bowls, plays basketball, plays the guitar, then the piano and the finally Bini was to ring a little golden buzzer. They didn't show Bini playing the piano, but there is a picture of Bini getting a treat for playing the piano. Also Shai did remove the cover for the little golden buzzer, but of Bini ringing the bell, that was completely cut from the video. In the end Bini The Bunny and Shai Lighter are still winners. Shai accomplished his main goal. To show the world how wonderful bunnies are. Many people who didn't know much about bunnies now are learning how awesome they are. It's just sad Simon is not going to allow them to appear on the next show.
Though I think it's a nice idea to show off Bini in America's got talent, the worrying thing is his response to the crowd and the buzzers. I still hope they do well though!
They got cut off the air in the end. I did learn that apparently the crowd was CGI, so at least it wasn't a whole audience looming down on him. But yep, that buzzer must have been a shocker for him.
I know! lol. I dunno, guess some think it is 🤷🏻♀️ But that just tells me that perhaps they're misinformed about how training works. I know there are some horror stories about the mistreatment of set animals in various big budget movies. I really can't speak to that though.

Thank you thank you!! We're doing our best to deliver consistent content 🙂 It's definitely motivational to know you are finding value in it.
And to add it does annoy me how Simon responded about his view of rabbits which is still very old fashioned
Yep!
HOW do you not have more subscribers????! Love watching your videos so much and agree with all of them❤👏

I really loved Binny's act but Binny was scared because of all the noise as bunnies are naturally very timid. He is really capable of many things 🐰💙🌈

Awesome! Just like Wally ☺️
