With an average altitude of 30 metres and and a severe lack of rock, its easy to see why it took Denmark a bit longer to catch the bug of climbing in the 21st Century, but no it has there seems to be no stopping it, as the participation rates grow at an exponential rate... In the second part of the Holds Around The World Series, filmmaker we take a look at the history of climbing in Denmark.

What an awesome story. Thanks for making this!
Great film, really interesting to see the journey and progress of climbing in Denmark 👍
Great video! I love the idea of the club & wish it was more common here in the US. It seems like so-called "social media" has destroyed community.
I just love that not having any outdoor climbing spots didn't hold you guys back, not one bit. Much respect.
Thx for sharing from New England here in the states. 🤙🏼
+ I'd love to see some videos of club organized trips abroad.
Well done! Great insight into the history of Danish indoor climbing and the role clubs played. Very interesting to see the difference between Denmark and The Netherlands.
Halfway through it feels more like an ad for Bison Boulders than a story about climbing in Denmark in general
Indeed my feelings too. I guess I have to create a more historic film of the danish climbing scene and history.
@@camillahyllebergphotography no one asked you to though. Don't be so full of yourself
Great sharing!
Really interesting video! Love the Bison Boulders routesetters' spirit :)
Super doc Antonin! Et bravo à la voix off, super juste ;-)

Pretty psych inducing ngl! Nice1

ROKK represent!
I thought from the title this would be about Britain. Not exactly the first country that comes to mind when one thinks of mountains either. Average elevation in the UK is 75 meters.
The UK has amazing, world-class rock climbing lol
@@onbarton Yes, I have climbed there. Stanage, Lake District, North Wales (Snowdonia, Llanberris Pass, Gogarth, etc), Cornwall sea cliffs, Pembroke sea cliffs, various Peak District, Scottish Highlands...it's all alright. I certainly would not call any of it "world class."
@@deannilvalli6579only Brits think they have world class destinations...
