What’s with the muffled sounding horns that don’t seem to be the filmed trains? (3:54 to 4:43) Is there a radio off camera? Just curious. Anyway, great video! Love all the stuff you do and I’m glad Amtrak has added more routes to our local area!
Those are called wayside horns. They place them in quiet zones where trains can't blow their own horns. They are essentially speakers on a pole that play a 'horn' sound.
Sorry for the late upload, i forgot to schedule it😅
Good to see those older Horizon coaches/train sets working the line. All we need are some AmFleet to complete the look.
Personally, I like the Horizons better. The Amfleets just wouldn't fly with me
I'm not thrilled with them, now the Cascades are as ugly as the Midwest Services, I miss the Talgos
Idk about you guys, but I'm excited for the new sets!
@@West_Cascade_Rail I am too
@@IronHorsefan1869I know that, but I think they would look even worse if they’d use Amfleets instead of Horizons

@@West_Cascade_Railthey are still allowed to blow the horn in case of an emergency, they’re just not REQUIRED to
@@adventuresofamtrakcascades301 That is correct.
Awesome job!!
Thank you!!
Adding those new trains to the schedule is certainly a step in the right direction
@@adventuresofamtrakcascades301 definitely.
@@West_Cascade_Rail I’ve only seen trains 503, 505 and 504 so far. I still need to capture train 502
