    I haven't made lollipops using my molds for a while, Thanks for the refresher!
    For all those that were inquiring about keeping the chocolate liquid while you work, I have an old plug in griddle, the type you make pancakes on, and some little metal bowls I bought at our local dollar store. I melt the wafers as per the regular method, then pour the chocolate into the metal bowls. I use the griddle on the lowest setting, keep the chocolate in the metal bowls, (they have to be metal or they could crack), and just keep refilling my squeeze bottle from the bowls. Just be careful picking up the metal bowl, it could be hot! The bowls are quite small, I believe they are meant as dipping bowls, but work great for doing chocolate molds!

      Della Hicks I use little glass bowls on my griddle and it works great. Doesn’t get so hot to burn you, or scorch the chocolate. You can pick them up cheap, they are like little dip size glass bowls.

    You can put the chocolate in right after placing the colored chocolate in; no need to wait. You CAN wait, if you have to come back to it later, but it won't mess up the color if you put it in right away.

    Thank you so much your tips on the multi colored bag was such a great idea and I've already got it in my Amazon shopping cart. Detailing was exactly what I wanted to know about. How long does the chocolate stay melted in both the candy tray and the squeeze bottle? Can you heat the squeeze bottle, or how do you reheat the chocolate once it cools?

    Melt it in a separate container and then pour it into the squeeze bottle.

    This is great! Do yo have a tutorial on how to make hollow chocolates (like easter eggs for example) and filled chocolates (like with runny caramel, pepperment etc inside)?

    Hi, I’m hoping to get some advice. I was trying to make detailed molds like this but I’m having trouble with he colours sticking together. I know it’s too warm in my apartment, so they’ve been cracking when I take them out. But when I have two colours that just don’t stick, I’m not understanding why. And it’s not even every mold. I’ve had some come out just fine.
    Thanks!

    Nice video- just want to know: how do you keep the candy melts so liquid when working with them? When I melt mine, always put some oil into it, so they get more fluid, but with time passing, they just harden, and it is not nice working with them. Here I only get Wiltons candy melts, but they should behave the very same! Please send your tip. Thank youuu

    When u check to make sure u got the detail well...wouldn't the chocolate start pouring out and go all over the mold?

  • @DanielleSchlosser
    @DanielleSchlosser 12 років тому

    When you give it the color then right away do u have to put the chocolate in. Please respond :)

    How do you get your chocolate so thin and runny? I've tried adding paramt crystals and my colors are still too thick.

    how long do you leave the decorations to set before proceeding to the next step? For instance the black dots in the eyes?

    • @SweetWiseInc
      @SweetWiseInc  8 років тому +2

      +Jana Tsiouklas Small details like that set right away, so really there is no waiting time, especially if you are doing more than one cavity.

    How do you keep the detailed color from bleeding? I haven't been able to master that. My colors tend to bleed once I fill the mold in. Thank you.

    • @kathypowers1962
      @kathypowers1962 9 років тому

      J. Monet Creations Just making sure...you are using melting wafers/candy melts/chocolate...yes? If you put that in the details and let it set before adding another color behind it, colors shouldn't bleed. Just want to make sure you are using the correct product.

      You may have some moisture in your bottle or tip......it has to be REALLY dry or it will seize up.

    My chocolate cools down really fast, therefore makes it hard. Then instead of detailing with smooth soft chocolate, I end up with lumps.

      A shorty G try using a electric griddle like for pancakes and put your chocolate in glass bowls or a little pan on the lowest setting. Then add to your bottle as needed.
