We did some winter camping at Hocking Hills State park in Ohio. It was our first camping trip of 2020. We had some snow which was beautiful. We did a comfort food cruise which was a lot of fun. That sounds like an event we would love,however, Michael doesn’t want to be in the snow. Lol! I grew up in Huber Heights, OH so snow doesn’t bother me! Great video!

Love Old Man's Cave. We took our first camping trip there with our 2 little boys in 1968. While I do prefer less crowded camping I love to visit all the State and National parks I can. Have tent camped across the country and love the outdoors. At 79 I now camp in the back of my minivan.I think the Hocking Hills area is just beautiful and love to tell people when I travel about just how beautiful I think it is. Many seem to think Ohio is boring, as a life long Buckeye I try to educate as many as I can about the beauty of my native state. Enjoy your videos.

Thank you so much! We had a ball doing this cruise. It was so much fun talking with the employees at the restaurants and others doing the cruise. The owner of Pearls was so nice (she was a sweet older lady with a great sense of humer).
After seeing this video a few months ago, I was looking forward to going in 2022. I just looked and it is cancelled for 2022. I'll have to remember for 2023. Hopefully a better year, with less sickness.

You guys are lucky. Pretty much all the campgrounds around here are only open May to September. Winter camping is my favorite, especially with snow.

Great video, Corey & Christy. Camping in January in Ohio! Brrrr. The food cruise looked fun and lots of good food. Great way to check out different restaurants. The Visitor's Lodge looks awesome. Hocking Hills is a nice state park. I remember going to Old Man's Cave many years ago. Good job!

I am fortunate to make annual trips in my RV to the Rockies and Texas to visit State and National Parks. They are great. But, I think the hike from the Upper Falls down the gorge past Old Man's Cave to Cedar Falls, then across the suspension bridge and back on the top of the gorge is one of my very favorite hikes. It may be my favorite hike. It is a fair length with some up down but you get rewarded with views of quite a number of waterfalls. People think Ohio is all corn and bean fields. While there is some truth to this, they miss a real gem if they never visit this terrific park. It is best viewed during the week early in the morning to avoid crowds of visitors. The quality of your video work is really good and I appreciate all of your videos. Keep up the good work.

We camped there annually for about 20 years until we started fulltiming so it was great to see all the new additions to the park. Hope you guys are staying safe. It was nice catching up, I love seeing the snow. I wish we could get just a little. That is a very nice campground store. I love the waterfall, I have always loved seeing them.Lol, I would be so scared to drive in the winter weather. We are just not used to it
It's such a beautiful area to visit! The visitors center is very nice and the gift shop is one of best we have seen. The snow was very light and the roads were clear when we drove home. Thank you for watching!

Found you on Instagram and wanted to connect here. Breakfast looked delicious. It can be hard to find good biscuits and gravy on the room. The visitor center is a nice one. There seems to be a trend to make the newer ones into museums. Enjoyed seeing their cave and displays.

Very nice video, love following your series. I could live without the adult film music in the background but I’m sure most other music is copyrighted. I Would like to see you do a couple special videos on camping. Maybe about good pet friendly parks. Another Idea I had would be going around talking to people about their favorite camping food recipes and share them. I use to do a program years ago called “cooking with the king”. Great video guys!! You cant beat state parks they are beautiful. You ara lucky they are open this time of year, ours here in Lynchburg Va area close up, and we have mild weather! The food cruise is very cool. I think there is something like that close to us if i remember correctly. There is a booze cruise for the local breweries here. Enjoyed this thanks for posting

Dumb question: for my first test run out with my little RV, I just reserved a spot at Kiser Lake campground for the 1st weekend in April. What if I pull in that Friday and I'm the only one there. It's just me and my dog. Would you guys feel safe at Kiser Lake if you were the only one there, or would you go back home? Maybe I'm worrying for nothing and someone else will be there. If not though, what would you guys do? Thanks!
Jeff King hello. I would think there would be someone there in April if the weather is good. I don’t really worry about it, but I carry a gun in the camper on every trip. There wasn’t much traffic when we were there in November. If you get there and don’t feel comfortable then you could leave. I don’t think you will have any problems.

Great video. I want to do that food cruise. How was it pulling a trailer on ice and snow covered roads going home? We are from Florida and snow scares us.
