For some reason people say they feel this so-called "Negative Emotion Aura" when playing Wet-Dry World in Mario 64 but I don't feel it at all....It's odd....I wanna know what's so fearful of the skybox and the level itself
the only 2 odd things with me and mario 64 is that my cousin version of mario 64 (this is also the first time ive played it, probloly only played it 3-7 times) seem a bit different , i cant point my finger on what , but one thing i do remember is that the castle front had a clock like thing , that is also seen in the beta version. as for the versions i own the only odd thing is big boos hunt (will explain later), first of all ive never had a negative emotional aura from wet dry world , while i found going to the town being frustrating (cause for some odd reason i never tried to use the canon and tried to used a weird glitch to go to the town part) and rainbow ride and tick tock clock , being frustrating in general, i find it ironic that the 2 most scary things for people never scared me , the eal and piano , but both where the most frustrating things of each level , because the piano is anoying and you cant do any damage to it , as for th eal i have no clue how to make it leave the boat/cave and most of the time i just died, snowmans land is also frustrating to get in the igloo, even tough i love the igloo part. now here is the odd thing , i do get a negetive emotional aura , and its the only thing that made me have a panic attack(freken scared as if something is about to attack me in real life) is oddly the empty hallway in the underground part of big boos hunt. idk why its only there , nothing else in the game made me scared except for that hallway.
@@Idontlikehandlesatall the skybox is literally just a stock image. sm64 uses a bunch of stock images (the metal mario texture actually uses a stock image of a flower edited down.) the level being based off of a human brain is plausible but if so, that would just be nintendo getting level inspiration from weird ideas. nothing too out of the ordinary for a company that makes tons of levels all the time. eventually you start looking at weird things for ideas. its a part of art
Stuff like 1:01 is what I think suits best with the whole personalization concept, just random details here and there that would change, not whole things like extra levels or multiplayer mode or whatever
scrapped levels unearthed, WDW brain-diagram unveiled, unused screens sighted: 😴 *_purple bully: 👀👀👀👀👀_* 0:55 *mario goes to the fridge to get a glass of milk 64*
The brain diagram concept is so unfitting and unusual for Mario. It's such a stark contrast from the uplifting and unrealistic world of Mario. Good Video.
One thing I do know, is that I have a faint memory of actually playing the version where the castle was like the vanilla, just without the stairs, more of the gaming steps.
I think back in 2017 I had a dream where I was playing Mario 64 and when I went to the level whomps fortress and I fell out the level then I was teleported to a new level called whomps town I got all the stars except for the boss battle so I went for that star when i got to the boss fight the boss was a child version of king whomp I beat the boss but when I got the star I woke up
What a load of bullshit
😂

People say the skybox is a flooded town that probably haves a bunch of corsps and how the level represents a human brain

why is this so creepy to me
The only thing I find disturbing is the start of the soundtrack because it just sounds sad
I am glad to know I am not the only one who thinks that song is creepy along with the wet dry world
