If you look at the two pipes on either side of the pipe labeled "floor cleaner", those are the split spa main drain suction lines. The pool main drain is split with a wall suction. That's code in the US. Or at least in Cali where I build. I've never heard of a vent line, but I can see how that would be a good idea for a pre-fab box style main drain. A vent wouldn't do any good if a child got stuck on the suction pipe. Split main drains are sufficient enough. And now with veritable speed pumps, they shut off for a minute if they lose flow. edit: Holy old vid, Batman. I just noticed this is a 7 year old post, lol.
second Drain is on the wall at 3:26 the split Tee is at 3:16 this is in CA USA you have to have second Drain
what country is this? only one floor drain and no 1" air vent to it for entrapment safty
