Gosh, that's a most beautiful air rifle. I was wondering if it's a Minelli stock? That's one of the most beautiful stocks I've ever seen. The action and the engraving is jaw dropping. We should be, and I am, thankful, that air rifle is manufactured by a British firm. Absolutely fantastic.
I had one on these and and it did exactly the same with the flyers, you could feel them coming when the bolt caught in the mag.. Always shot well with the single shot tray though Not seen your channel until a few days ago and it makes a refreshing change to see what appears to be unedited and genuine results whether they are good or not so good. Good on you
@@southwestshooters I found it a bit bulky so I sold it and replaced it with a Hunstman forester.. much better balanced for standing shots and still lovely to have as a collectors rifle..
nothing wrong with those groups mate 👍 to be fair one of the reasons i don’t use mags and use single shot trays the other reason is it stops me from burning through pellets at a tin a session 🤣🤣🤣 what a stunning rifle . definitely a piece of art for sure 👌
That is an absolutely beautiful piece of work by Daystate. Unfortunately Christmas is an expensive time of year when you have kids, plus I’m already set on an R12 CLX in the new year…. Good shooting at 40m 😉
@@southwestshooters Sounds like you might be doing too much. How much are you doing in your workouts? Personally, I only do one work set for every exercise after a good warm up. I hit a body part twice per week with a similar movement. If I do bench press early in the week, then I do parallel bar dips later in the week. It seems that the two movements complement each other and the low volume makes it so I can train again in a second workout, plus I'm not overly sore and make good progress this way.
I was watching and listening to your loading and knew with the sound and action which were going to be fliers before you shot them. Look back at that part of the video and you should see.
What a stunner, shame about the magazine issues. How would you rate this against the AA HFT 500? I'm looking to part ex an FX and my S400 towards 1 very special PCP 👍
Both are good rifles. In this case I would honestly pick the air arms. However, if the mag issue was addressed, I would pick the Daystate. However, i would think very hard before you trade in the S 400.... They are virtually perfect.
@@southwestshooters as I wrote my previous comment I started thinking "not the S400"!!! Not sure what I was thinking. Thank you for the reply, all the best and Merry Christmas 👍
Main group looks good. Maybe for some reason it prefers other pellets. Or its a dodgy magazine. Shame you dont have another magazine to compare it to. I like the colouring. But its just to chunky and bulky. For 1500 quid i wouldnt be expecting fliers that far out.
That is a stunning piece of artwork - but way too heavy and doing the typical Daystate thing- inconsistent ! Sent too many of this marques back over the years.
Slow down and control your cocking of the gun, it's not your daddy's pump action shotgun as some would say. That big flier was more than likely you smashing the bolt in and damaging the pellet on loading. With the exception of that flier that second group is more like what this gun is capable of if its anything like mine. These guns are literally the most accurate sub 12 pcp I've ever shot. And streamlined would probably be even better.
Controversially, I think the gun is ugly- the RW is much prettier. Good shooting though. It’s obvious capable and no one can predict the effect the odd wasp getting in the way will have occasionally…
Great shooting , phenominal rifle regret selling mine 😢

I would imagine that it is a Minelli.
That looks stunning
That stock is out of this world👍
Totally agree with you on this.
Great video and beautiful gun! Good to see back catalogue and more unusual/special guns!
Keep up the videos, sir!
You are most welcome FG! Thanks for the kind message.

Interesting! I believe that the mag is a little squiffy too.... Still, I really like this gun. Why did you get rid of it?

Thank you Paul. I agree, it's a fantastic looking rifle.
Awesome looking gun and a good and honest demo as ever...... Keep up the good work chap :)
Thanks Andrew. Nice to hear from you again!
That is stunning, never seen one before, great video!

Thanks Richard! Yes. Christmas can be expensive...... There are always going to be more cool guns to enjoy! Merry Christmas.
What a beautiful rifle. I have never seen one of these before. I really enjoyed the video.
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video! I haven't seen one of these either. Thanks for the message.
Nice looking rifle. Enjoyed the review 👍
Thank you Steve!
Great shooting and amazing looking rifle 🙂👍. Good job getting after the lifting 💪👍.
Does it get easier? My chest still feels it after 5 days!

Hello Christopher. Great video that sure is a lovely looking weapon
Thanks Martin.

The action didn’t push the pellet in smoothly
After watching 3 times ... I agree that before every flier your cocking is more laboured ... Maybe in need of a better mag ?
Now I own it 😊
Chester Bennington, is that you?

Still no chrono ? Why ?
Great looking gun 👍 I would guess let down by a poor Daystate magazine! Would have been interesting to see it with a single shot tray installed?
Yes, this is a sensible idea. One I wish I had before the end of the video!

Pretty, but , for me a gun is a tool, not art.
Still, it is pretty.
Thanks for showing.
Cocking the rifle far too fast!!!
Some people shouldnt do videos!
