    Gotta love a good extension, they can really help. I’ve always wanted to try one of them, the electric adjusting windscreen is fancy when you find the sweet spot. I think I bought the exact same extension, nice install mate looks a lot better than the one I had fitted to my givi, install didn’t seem too difficult. Brilliant little mod its a fine line between comfort in the wind and line of site, after a 4hr ride you’ll love it! Great jom Matt, cheap and cheerful Chewie. I have heard good things about them, you need to invest in a magnet pick up tool. Thats interesting I think you did the “little metal plates” right. Nice little video Chewie, I like your Kawa, great DIY project. I love the way you talked to the mechanism, thats a pretty substantial mechanism to attach, gotta love an extension, that should kick the wind over your head, they really do work when I have my windsheild all the way up. That should kick the wind over your head, if it stays on. I had a tall windscreen and handle bar risers on mine.. I work with the following standard procedure, "what instructions, work it out as I go along" 😁😁😁 The espresso taste for the coffee cup helps.😜 Cheers

    Even more surprising to me was to realise you have an electric adjustable front windscreen... I didn't even know any bikes had that! wow... Not sure what I think about the extension. Fiddle with it some more and see if you can get it better... People chase their tails on the Sport Glide trying all sorts of things... I think I'm happy to have my helmet in clean air and a bit of pressure off my torso... I've always wanted to try one of them on the CBF, might have to get my behind in gear and get one, be very interested to see do you like it in the long run!
    I think you figured it all out very well considering there was no instructions, unless they were hidden off camera :P The allan key was demanded by the Kawasaki, it needed tribute.
    You seemed to know 6 inches very well. Id imagine those little metal plates are supposed to bend a bit to pinch the rubber seal maybe.
    Hmmmm the mic sounded cleaner, that is very interesting. What's the flashing yellow light on the dash?

    • @hachewie
      @hachewie  2 роки тому

      The yellow light is the traction control light. It is on always. The camera shutter rate makes it flash on camera. It is stupid though. Something I’ll talk about in a bike review.
      Hahahaha A tribute. Metal giants demanding gifts.
      The screen extension is good. It works. After a few decent rides I’ve learned how effective it is. I love it.
