Well done! I came to the comments to see how many people would be screaming about the tinfoil “polish“ trick. Some people get so bent out of shape about using tinfoil or steel wool, but sometimes when the plating is far enough gone, and your only option is to have it replated, then why not use something a little aggressive. if the parts are rusty, then the plating is already gone, so why not forge ahead? I’ll be checking out your other stuff.
Did you know that it is not necessary to push an Aquarian drum head to remove the glue excess, because there’s no glue excess? This is because the Aquarian drum heads were specifically designed not to do that because they put the exact amount of glue in the hoop so there is no glue excess
@@KevinCrafted oh yeah in this case you had to do that to seat the drum head on the Bering edge and now I understand why you did that. i normally don’t do that because in my case with my drum set, the drum heads already seats well on the Bering edges. but in this case with this amazing Camco drum set, the situation is different. By the way you did a great job with this drum set!!! Now you have a new subscriber!!!
Outstanding ! Did you notice the lug mounting screw holes in the shells are threaded to fit the screws perfectly ? Most drummers when they get a set of Camcos have no idea the shells are threaded for the lug screws and end up damaging the drums by thick thumbing the screws through the holes instead of screwing them into the shell then into the turret lug.
I'm just now learning about this manufacturer, originally camco was made in Indiana where I'm from. Would love to get my hands on a kit that was made in Elkhart, In
Well Done😊

Good to know, it still seats the head on the bearing edge though!

Some say it is the best drum ever but it doesn't sound like that

I didn’t notice, but thanks for the info! I can remember a few of them seeming tight

Yes, originally was the George Way Drum Co.
