This is the very reason why I will always say that Yuzu is the most complete and purposeful figure skater ever.

Yes, Yuzu already have all the means to create his own rink but he's spending his money for charities. He stays true in his goal. His goal why he continued skating after the tremendous earthquake and that is to help those who are in needs.

Very misleading title. Regardless, his visit to the TCC was really nostalgic for me and warmed my heart and hurt it at the same time. I’m glad you’re enjoying your retirement and doing incredible things with freedom ❤

There will never be another EMPEROR of the ICE. Yuzuru Hanyu is the Forever G.O.A.T. 🏆🥇✨💫👑💝

    He is NOT.
What Brian said was that Yuzuru could easily win the competition in his current form, but Yuzuru Hanyu is happy on the path that he has chosen, and it’s NOT going back to the ISU competitions.

Brian said he doesn't want Yuzu to return to competition as long as the scoring system is corrupt. NO, Yuzu found his scope as a PRO, he is free, and he doesn't have to suffer anymore. He is too BIG to go back!!!!!!!

@@irinaniculiu Oh yes, youtube is not very reliable in this regard. 🤭
I am all the more grateful for the nice answer. But I think there is a misunderstanding. The mentioned video is exactly the one we are both commenting on. 😉 And only a small part of the whole text contains quotes from Brian Orser, the rest are probably the thoughts of the one who made this video. You can read along in the transcript, I copied the part that refers to Brian Orser.
--- "Brian Orser said that Yuzuru is in perfect shape, no problem to win World Championships with that kind of shape. Brian asked how Yuzuru manages to stay in such great shape. "It's really hard", Yuzuru told him, but he wants to skate well for the sake of his fans, they are his motivation. Brian said that thanks to Yuzuru he's been able to gain confidence in his beliefs as a coach. He feels he was raised by Yuzuru in some way. Brian said that Yuzuru knelt down, touched the ice and said he loved this Cricket Club Ice and missed it. In Yuzuru's professional life having a place to come back to would be a huge source of emotional support, Brian shared. What pleased him most about Yuzuru's visit: he didn't come for business, he just came because he wanted to see him. Ever since Yuzuru Hanyu made Sendai his training base he has said that he wants to visit the Cricket Club one day. Javier Fernandez often visits Brian after he leaves the amateurs and Orser is glad it's like his boys, his sons coming home."---
So, Brian didn't say anything of the sort, and I would have been very surprised if he had publicly criticized the system that evaluates his current protégés. But, of course, it would have been nice. 🤭👋🏻

Its wonderful that Mr. Hanyu has two "home" bases. Sendai and the Toronto CC.
Brian Orser was very important support and teacher for him and so glad his memories are positive ones.
Mr. Hanyu is a light and cannot be kept in the dark. Long may he skate nd be creative and thank you to Brian and the CC for helping this world treasure to shine.

It is obvious that while turning pro he just has experienced his revival. In spite of his hard work he is simply blooming while creating on and on masterpiece after masterpiece beyond imagination. He is somhow enjoying his liberty to do what he preferes and spreading his wings as he desires - being the measure alone for anything he does in and of the ice.
He is finally pleased and happy and too inteligent to return to competing - whatfore - he has anyhow won everything possible.
The audience has only profited from his turning pro because he is more and more visible in every respect.

Powodzenia.

"The medals that were taken away from him"....what a load of garbage! Medals are not gifts for being the most popular skater. Nathan Chen reigned for four years, and rightfully so! I have nothing against Yuzu, but his fan base is out of their minds.

      Ooohh My Goddness!
You don't understand what you're talking about!
Your big hero it's a jumper of course!
      Yup!
      That's all he can do!
      Ilya is a jumper too!
      🫣🫢🥺😭🙈
You have to understand what we many other's are saying?
Try to comparing Rudolf Nureyev with any other dancer?
      No, it's impossible!
Try to compare Yuzuru Hanyu with another FS?
      It's as equally impossible!
It doesn't work because he is and always has been on a completely higher and different level and so much better than everyone else!
No one can ever match him!
All honest eyes without" a certain blindness"have seen that difference!
      I knows it!
Orser knows it and even Arutunian himself knows it!
      Only you don't knows it!?
      Strange?
      🤔🤨
Nathan's always greatly overated scores and Yuzuru's as greatly underestimated got a lot of people other than just me wondering who paid bribes for the judges?
Or were they really that poorly educated and incompetent?
      😳🤔🙄
If incompetence and lack of interest for FS is so great is really a criminal act that the ISU just looked on and did not lift a finger for it!
      ☝️☝️😱😖
Right now it all looks to continue with an ever bigger joke than Nathan ever was with this lousy and totally laughably bad Ilya!
      😌😆😂🤣🙈
Junhwan was 100% better than Ilya and those bribed? creatures gave Ilya a Silver Medal!!!???
      😝😜🤨😐😑
Surely you've never ever seen some Yuzuru's performance!?
      I'm sure you don't have!
Wash your eyes once again and dare to be honest and look at the phenomenon with your own and honest eyes!
Don't think at all that he is a Japanese guy and not an U.S. Citizen!
That kind of skater than Nathan is are born approximately 2-3 times every 100 years!
Such FS as Yuzuru is born once every 1000 years and think how lucky we were and are to be part of this journey of the outstanding phenomenon that Yuzuru Hanyu is!
On the other hand unfortunately there are also such rascals who do not recognize The Real Champion even if he is in front of their own eyes!
Like Lakernik, ISU and the bribed Judges!
I just feel sorry for them!
      They're big loosers!
      🙄🤧😔😪
      NOTE!
      I'm not a Japanese!
      I'm a honest Skandinavian!

I think "taken away" as in he was not always rewarded because of his scoring which, let's be all honest here for a second, were sometimes too low (especially GOE). It's not zero-sum game - just because we admit one skater was unfairly judged (Yuzuru) it doesn't mean the other were too (Nathan). Although there was a group of skater pretty much always judged too high (Russian skaters).
