    I am confused... 2 inches thick? (And a 5 cm diameter cookie-cutter?) Is is perhaps 2 cm thick? 😳

      No about 1.5 - 2 inches is the right thickness for this type of scone recipe. Although the CWA would smack him for cutting a scone with a knife! If you make a scone right it should be able to be pulled in half neatly by hand!

      The scones I normally make always pull apart nicely but are only 3 cm (a good inch) thick. 😉

      @@yvonne705 I grew up on CWA scones (they still keep their damn recipe under lock and key) and they were always pretty tall. I actually use a different recipe for mine but it's similar to this one. Haven't had a bad batch yet :)
