I recently bought the same bottle, albeit under a different (re)brand. There is one difference though: the lid does not have a venting hole in it. If I tighten the lid on the bottle I can create overpressure (or vacuum) inside the bottle. I don' think that is correct for an overflow bottle.
How does it actually vent if you use the opposite end to tighten down the bolt in? Understand it’s not completely sealed with thread tape or sealant but still not really venting either. Did I miss something?

I ran my "temporary" powerade zero bottle for 2 two years -- no shame in that!
Those firewall pinch weld holes held the body-to-transmission harness and/or the body-to-engine harness.
