one of the jobs I hated the most growing up on the farm was cleaning out bins. Dad always insisted we kernel clean behind the sweep as we go. Now i realize (40+ years later) why: blend the bin bottom FM into the loads as you go and you don't have to come back and clean the entire floor at once. Sometimes you don't realize how wise some decisions are until the person that made them are gone. Charge on DC! thanks for taking us along.

You can build your own lifting bi-fold door for about $2500. Some big hinges and a cheap winch from local tractor store is pretty easy to build and cheap. Welker farms have one for their shop can see it in some videos.
I love watching your channels. When I was in my thirties I worked on a dairy farm not to far from our little farm. I would clean the milk house and bottle feed the young calves. I must say it was the best job I ever had. I loved that family, now I am in my seventy"s and as I watch your family you remind me so much of the days I had working on that farm in Maybee, Michigan. I see no reason why Cooper can't build the overhead door you need. Many small airport hangars have home designed overhead doors. Take a look at the commercial built ones, maybe look at the home designed ones, take some pictures, sit down with a clean sheet of paper and draw it up, make a small working model to test the concept if needed but it is definitely doable at a affordable price. I built mine.
All these haters never worked mentally or physically there entire life.

Daddy Cornstar, what’s going on with the red Chevy truck? I saw on one of Cole’s videos that you were losing transmission fluid and then I saw it getting towed out of the field during y’all’s hunt for rocks. Just curious, I work on a lot of Chevy trucks.

I haven't seen many haters. But I have given suggestions of using a shaft mounted gear reducer on your augers. I realize the small motor pully and big auger pulley has been around forever, but if you are going to try to run full augers, then you have to have the torque. That advice was given to help not out of hate though. Don't be so proud that you can't learn a better different way. Shaft mounted reducers changed my whole approach to augers and handling grain and flour.

Misery loves company. That's what I always heard my grandparents say. I'm 76, and it's been my experience that my grandparents are right. Seems we have a lot more miserable people in our world today. What a shame. There is a lot to be thankful for. God's creation is a beautiful place. I have enjoyed being a part of it. God's creation. We don't have to be miserable.
