Adam I just wanted to take a moment to say that many racers owe you immense gratitude. In my two years of racing your videos have become priceless. So thank you, like many have said.
I got the RC bug again after being out of it for 10 to 12 years.I busted out my old Mugen MBX4 XR. After a few race weekends I decided to get a bit more serious about set up. The oil in the diffs still looked good and there was zero signs of leakage after all those years in storage. I think next year it is time for a newer car as I think parts are to hard to get for the old XR4's :-)
I also started getting the bug I had 2 boys and fell out of racing for 7 years I have an mBX7t Nitro and Plan on getting a new kit I'm just going to transfer all my electronics to the new kit when I get back into the Winter series it'll be worth it and cheaper in the long run , so go for bro!
i had my Mugen body painted like this..then everybody turning heads looking for Adam Drake haha! it was fun even i don't drive like Adam...LoL Hey.. i wanna be like my idol..!
Hello, thx a lot for all your tuto ! Very helpful And.. I can’t wait for the new 1/8 mugen e-buggy ! Just a little sad we can’t get it at the begining of the league championship 2018 :(
What weigh diff oil do you recomemded for if im not too often playing on track Adam Drake??..for front, mid,& rear..im running 1/8 nitro buggy & using C Hub not Pillow hub...i need a good diff oil setting from the Pro please..🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍🇲🇾♥️
@@AdamDrake thanks..Maybe the setup diff oil for C hub & Pivot/Pillow hub is different right?.....im sure about it..maybe for Pillow hub will using heavy diff oil for front & center diff because the car too aggresive..also will oversteer a bit when exit corner..so heavy diff oil is the solution..maybe 10k-10k-5k or 12k-12k-8k..i dont know maybe around that because im not good in Pillow Hub buggy..but i will learn to drive it
@@AdamDrake oh i forgot Mr.Drake..if i often usually drive in the track what setting diif oil can i use?..for C hub..because you also running C hub buggy before this ( LOSI )

I remember back in the day when Adam used to rip up the tracks with his Losi 8.
Yes sir! Haha
For those that have AC trailer in the summer months. The temp difference in the trailer and track is quite a bit. How would you tackle this?
You should always make the changes and adjustments based on the outside temp and you should bleed your shocks outside as well.
@@AdamDrake Thanks for taking the time to respond, Adam. I will setup a canopy outside of my trailer.
hey adam its tyler how ya doing gotta question for ya if you was to ever wanna switch bodies would u ever run leadfinger bodies?
I race for Pro-Line, but thank you for the offer.
How often you chance the bearings?
It depends on the track conditions, but with the NMB bearings and the new Flash Point bearings, they can be cleaned and reused for a long time.
Ok thanks :)
:)
Nice Video!!!
Thanks!
