Also she's a native speaker so her lessons definitely get the real pronunciation. I am distrustful of the Americans teaching how to speak Japanese because they might make small mistakes only a native would catch.

One more remark, the placement of the rómaji script is perfect, personally i dont like it, it distracts me from the kana but i understand why it is needed in an instructional video, but placing it at the bottom far from the japanese text is a really nice idea

As I've slowly progressed through this learning adventure, it seems that the verbs have a pretty clear logic to them. The irregulars are few compared to English.
These videos are super helpful; the adjective conjugation video helped me out so much. There's also an app Japanese Conjugation City that goes great with these vids.
I'm looking forward to a video about common homophones. I always understood "hayaku" as "quickly," or "hurry." I wouldn't have considered using it in this context. (Of course my Japanese is limited and terrible.)

another way to make negative form is add ことをしない at the end of the sentence. 本を貸す becomes 本を貸すことをしない. 待つ becomes 待つことをしない. sounds a bit redundant to native Japanese but still understandable.
Actually, no. It would only allow you to say that you don’t sleep (or didn’t if you make it past tense). There are a couple of reasons: 1. This is a more general rule: there is a whole different conjugation for potential (“am able to do”) verbs, so you’d have to learn that first. 2. “To sleep” is a weird verb in Japanese, since “to fall asleep” is it’s own verb. So you’d have to conjugate that verb into its potential form and then negate it
No. 'not able' requires another postfix, the negative potential (ranai) I don't sleep: nemanai (nemu-->nema + nai) I can't sleep: nemaranai (nemu-->nema + ra (potential) + nai (negative).
Hi Misa! I just got your Hiragana poster and I love it! But there's a mistake. In the special characters at the bottom left "Jo" is repeated. But the one on the left side should be "Cho." I just had a Japanese class and was looking for "Cho" and couldn't find it! Arigatogozaimasu!
'I think it's probably better to explain this as the characters changing, and not the vowel u sound in isolation. Like in the tatsu example, rather than explaining that there's no tsa, and describing it as an exception, I think it's better to just say that the last hiragana character switches to the A row (from tsu to ta), since this is consistent with how the others work.
