Just fell into this world of collecting golf balls because I moved onto a golf course. I found 27 the first time I mowed my lawn. I can’t wait to find more!
I watched the whole thing just for the stats of how many Q balls you found 😂 im surprised you didnt do its own stat on the side! I just cared to know know how many youve found from "Q" 😅 i love the content! ive already learned alot about these balls and kinda what year they were made. keep it up! The a to z and bingo games look fun and was fun to watch. We need moooreee
i found a nice orange callaway superhot when i was playing today, also last summer i got one of those nice blue velocities bc a nice course near me that im not a member of sells them for 5 bucks beside the checkout lol my buddy spotted one from the golf cart he also found the green one in the fescue and gave it to me!
I will probably do something like that in the off-season when we can't get outside anymore, but I also make a lot of shorts too that often feature some rarer balls! Glad you enjoyed! 💪
I’ve got a challenge idea for ya, @Muskrat Links Golf See if you can find every letter of the alphabet on a ball in a day of hunting. It can be printed or hand written, but you have to find every letter of the alphabet somewhere on a ball. Bonus points if you find them in alphabetical order! Love these videos, for some reason it’s so soothing to me.
Hey much appreciated my friend, thank you for the compliment! Those golden ones feel so good to find, it's like yep, that's what I needed right there! 🏅
Ive been going through a golf course thats being renovated, but its overgrown and have loads of golf balls when you look outside of the fairway. I am tempted to keep all sorts of unique balls, i definately need to use a grabber while im out there
Absolutely, go places no one else is searching or can get to, just make sure you have permission from the owners first as always! Happy hunting my friend! 😀
@@muskratlinksgolf we got permission, heck we got access whenever with a button for the front gate. There's just so much of it- and with this month's rain and the future construction for this fall we'll be picking a frugal supply. _so many golf balls._ Ive been scrubbing the titlist ones first since they usually have the company branding on it, even found a vintage titlist 4 in the red font. It's all good fun hunting them, I may even retrobright some of the yellowed ones if I feel so implored.
How long do you give a course before it’s ready to hunt again? I’ve recently gotten into golf and I’m really enjoying it and my local course has a 9 hole and an 18 hole. I’ve gotten permission to search the 9 as it’s a little less ‘professional/official’ (a more relaxed dress code and less security). After 2 hunts I’m at about 250 balls, mostly good brands and I’d like for it to become a side hustle as I’m a student so money is tight. I’ve only gotten permission from this one course but I’ve pretty much cleared it out now.
@@tommolewis3105 Nice getting permission, it really depends on how much play the course gets. Newport, where I pick the most, I can usually pick a third or so of the course any given day. Since I'm filming other videos it could be months before I get back to see again, but they are mostly refilled by that point!
@@muskratlinksgolf Thank you for the reply! Been addicted to your videos recently, 3 hours hunting then an hour watching someone else! I think I’m just going to have to branch out and ask some other courses, do you give them an incentive like also picking up litter? I told myself I would but the courses are just so clean! It’s nice how respectful people are.
@@tommolewis3105 I offer something else with the professional exposure and course showcases giving them a positive online footprint which is invaluable for tourism in NH. I also offer all the balls back to them if they want. So I'm essentially offering several thousand dollars to them to let me film. It's a bit different and usually involves a few months of planning, contract negotiations, deliverables from both parties, etc.
@@muskratlinksgolf Very good points. I obviously have no exposure but I do shoot wedding and event photography.
