Annie and Michael really do have a special connection and love for their fans l was sad to hear about Michael passing because he’s a warm hearted down to earth musician who was tremendously talented l never was able to see Renaissance play live in the 70’s but l saw them many years later play a small venue in Orlando Florida and the concert was cancelled because Annie had back surgery but the venue told me to hang on to my ticket because they are going to reschedule the show and she came and performed the show and it was fantastic l have a lot of admiration and respect for her because some artist’s would have blown off the show and would play other dates but not Annie she didn’t want the fans to be let down that is love and commitment to your fans and that is what makes Annie so special to me and many other fans she also e-mailed a fan back who text her to tell her how much he loved and appreciated her band and her music and Annie sent an e- mail back thanking him Sadly the show l seen Michael had passed on Michael you were very much loved and we all will miss you very much RIP Michael
Two very important people in music. I won't say Progressive Rock because I felt they were better defined as Classical Rock. Michael Dunford was a very original type of writer. His compositions were special and it always felt as if he created ideas / melodies/chord progressions that weren't thought of by other people. He was innovative. Annie Haslam is my favorite singer of all time. She is very innovative.
. . . Especially the ‘Adamas I’ that they started to use after the Folklore 12 string model. Nothing better than an Adamas plugged-in … almost 50 years after their release.
