Yeah, it really is the father‘s fault for not doing anything and not trying hard enough to make his son stop. He should’ve done a better job trying to be a father to him instead of just trying to be a friend to him. If he would’ve still would have been a father figure towards Avery, he probably would have never went this out of control and would have never done something really extreme. It’s pretty obvious, why Avery just acted that way towards the OP probably because he thought that the OP was going to take his dad away from him and Since the Dad wasn’t that much of a father finger towards him at all. Even though that’s not what she was trying to do at all. I think Avery just thought that his dad care more about the OP than him and the Dad should’ve put his son in therapy several years ago.

Sounds to me like "the bad seed." Sounds crazy, but some kids are just born as soulless monsters. I wouldn't believe it if it hadn't happened to a friend of ours. Her oldest was a real piece of work. Mean, sneaky, and a pathological liar. He once threatened his mom with a knife because she refused to spend the rent money on a dirt bike for him. And then lied to CPS to get his little brother (who was nursing, and allergic to formula) taken away. She managed to get an emergency court order to get the little guy back before he got really sick. Worst part was, we found out years later that CPS in that county was running a baby-selling ring. Healthy blonde haired blue eyed babies got stolen from single mothers and adopted out for cash. So without her getting a lawyer, the kid would have been long gone. We keep waiting to see the oldest's name in the news for some horrible crime.
@@MarkStockman-b4j It might not have been “the bad seed”. There’s a good chance it was parental negligence.
