Fire Trucks, Police Cars, & Fire Dozer Responding Code 3 to a Huge 100+ Acres Grass Fire

- At around 3:00PM, June 6th, 2021, dispatch received multiple smoke investigation reports behind Cal Expo. Due to the amount in of callers, the assignment was balanced to a Vegetation Fire. Engine 19 arrived on scene to about 3-quarters of an acre burning at a moderate rate of spread at 601 ARP. Around 33 engines responded and the fire burned over 100 acres. No injuries have been reported and the cause is under investigation.

Considering that this was at Cal Expo, I thought that it is in the city, but would of course involve stations and special equipment from Sacramento County being involved because of the size and nature of the brush fire call-out.
