amazing. I have been searching all Rodin videos over the last few days. I didnt know this work was being done just down the road from me. John Britten feel
I love everything Rodin does, so refreshing to see a company excel
Clearly at a massive downforce disadvantage to the purpose-built cars. Most companies build a new chassis, using an existing engine. Huge respect to Rodin for that fabulous engine.
Love the work at Rodin. Refreshing
The v10 sounds so good. I could listen to that all day. A Rodin livery similar to a the lotus John player special would complete the car.
0:53 I'm sorry, I burst out laughing 🤣
Yoink!
Endurance drivers usually need a hand to get out from the car to save time since they are almost exhausted... But indeed everytime they've been pulled off the car looks quite hilarious
Nah is violated
I had to replay it to check it was not a dummy used for practise!... Nope, he definitely drove it into the pits!
i need this in assetto corsa right NOW!!
That last few seconds of Stephen having a boogie really topped this video off ❤ congratulations team!
That Judd is a jewel of a mill
It's not a judd...it's an in-house motor😂
Amazing work team ❤ the future is looking super bright!!!
Bloody awesome.🤙🤙
Good work boys
Meu deus que som!!! Espero que consigam fazer versões de rua com esse V10 🙌❤️
What an achievement!
Great work guys 😍
I hope my V12 build turns out that good 🤞
Bring on 2025
Second in class and seventh overall is decent for a brand new build on shakedown. Being N/A v10 with 650 horse , for more speed turbocharging would be in order , even if it goes against the ethos of the original. But man , this would be a Monster with wider tyre's and twin turbo......Excellent progress thus far.
Awesome car and achievement by the Rodin Team. Make sure you watch till the VERY end... 😂
Levem esse carro pra Goodwood ano que vem ❤️
Quite entertaining, sitting on my couch in Riccarton, eating icecream, cheering.
What's next?
👍👍🏆🏆👌👌🍺🍺
10 seconds behind its only competitor in class. Got to be honest its not really a time attack car. Its a class racing car.
Haha the RP968 has almost 1000hp more than the Rodin, and has more downforce than a F1 car, I dont think anyone expected it to win
Yeah, honestly the Rodin FZero would have demolished in competition, but this was really just a debut for what will be the first Rodin "limited production" vehicle. They only mentioned it briefly in an earlier episode, but it sounds like they plan to sell a street-legal version. Coming second to a purpose-built Porche that is probably several times as expensive at Time Attack sounds pretty good if you're buying one.
Having spent the best part of two years (staring in 2014) developing a similar car (ua-cam.com/video/kBMyJWnJAhM/v-deo.html which incidentally has also ended up in New Zealand) I know something of what it takes to bring such a machine to life. I can only commend you and all the RODIN team for a job well done!!! Can't wait to see more from your company.
Absolutely stunning car and engine, Rodin should be well happy with their brilliance of re-engineering this great GT1 car…….however WTAC is not the right place for this car as the lap times showed, The Porsche was almost 10 seconds a lap faster……that’s not a little bit, that’s a huge gap! This car would be better suited for the NZ or Aust Endurance Series, as it’s too underpowered and too under aero’ed to be competitive as a Time Attack car.
