I use the same machine and I love it. The only issue I had with it was the cutting swath was a bit small so I switched the guard out for a husqvarna guard and it gives me a lot more line. Also fitted a speed feed 450 head which works great. These motors a seriously powerful most the time I run it in first gear.
Great review, finally someone explaining the rotation on the strimmer head . How many batteries would you need for a full day strimmer boarders and edging boarders small to medium lawns? 👍
How are you finding using battery stuff for your business? I've still got my old faithful Honda lawnmower that starts first pull and my husky brush cutter for the big jobs where I need the power and runtime but everything else is all Ego now...
Hey Joshua. Hope Hope your okay! I'm loving it bro. We're pretty much 100% battery now apart from the Van! Love the simplicity, slience and lightweight tools. Just have to obviously make sure you've got enough batteries for the run time though!
@@mikedaygm that's pretty cool! I think I will definitely get my hands on a Ego mower when I have the cash.. I like the idea of being able to stand them vertically for space saving, I've also got some awkward jobs where I have to carry a mower up steps and I think lighter Ego would make life easier! Will you be reviewing the backpack link? I'm a bit on the fence because I like the idea of making the tool lighter but not sure about having the cord in the way, I've also read a few people saying that it makes some tools unbalanced and front heavy.. I hope you're managing to cope in this heat 🥵 this trade is certainly a graft this time of year!
Another great review. Honest and helpful.
Thankyou Ross!
Awsome piece of kit and it looks great too

The ST1530/ST1534 series is faster spinning than the Power Load models and the rest of the line-up. Also the 16" models have slower RPM.
Interesting video I made the mistake of buying the st1510 after years of using petrol and just can’t get used to it spinning clockwise, huge mistake 😢
