2:70 into this and so far many useless talk, just get to the point man
Thanks for watching. You know where the exit button is.
hey mate, would be keen to know why you wouldnt touch the Stihl Battery Products? thanks
that battery is huge. how many AH is it?
@@1969MARKETING It's 11ah battery. 😀
Great video, I just purchased this unit and really like it! Also got the Snow Shovel Attachment!! Does anyone find it takes a bit of wiggling to get the attachments inserted properly? Maybe I just have to get used to the process or I am doing it wrong? TIA
Good series, can you add a bit more context as to why you wouldn't bother with stihl? Just out of interest thanks
That makes a cracking job
Get a mic on your person while filming and increase the pacing. It will improve your videos.
I am going to keep all my petrol stuff and get a Husqvarnaa 520ihe3. I agree I do not think Makita is up to my needs, thanks for making a good video.
Just bought a used 1 how many batteries do you get through if you day is hedge cutting all day I run Makitas 18v the lads rather use electric than petrol now Milwaukee have just released new short hedge trimmer looks good 30inch model in USA and are making its way into the arb industry might be worth looking into good videos it was watching your videos that got me into Makita trimmers never looked back thanks buddy 👍
Hey Thanks Lee! We now have 2 vans out running ego and my van is fully Kress equipment. Soon to be changing them over to Kress too. Great quality kit with a long warranty.
Is it still good?
Wow your stripes are 🔥🔥🔥 they look amazing what striper are you using. Thank you so much 😊
Hi Mike. It's a rear roller kit. 😀
The rear roller kit is very cheap to be fair just over 50 quid
im very interested in gen 2 now 😳
Hi mate, loving the van setup from the initial clip. Do you have any videos on the setup? I've just started a garden maintenance business with ego power+ tools and got myself a van so would like to get some ideas from yours if possible as it looks really neat 👌
Thanks! For the 14 a rotary scissors attachment with an additional 1420E extension pole?
Cuts slower than a silky saw😂
Just wandering why you haven't included the ego rotary scissors attachment?
Ok when gifted to you of course your going to be using it but i very much doubt you would have both been putting your hands in your pocket and buying the stuff.
If Porsche called you up and asked you to test drive their new car.. would you say no?
@@mikedaygm most definitely I would say no I can’t stand them
🤣🤣🤣
@@mikedaygm the thing is you never answered my question would you of put your hand in your pocket and bought it all it’s ok no you wouldn’t
Hey ist it still good mower ?
Terrible! Why do people like anti clockwise? unless you're a lefty clockwise is more natural. Hopefully they continue to offer both its one of the reasons I swapped my Milwaukee to Ego.
Can I ask where you bought the tip protector, and also have you heard of Cramer garden tools in particular the 82PHT32 hedge trimmer they come with 82V batteries blade speed up to 4400
Anyone have the ph1400 and ph1420? Was it worth the upgrade? I can get the edger and 1400 tools only for $20 less than just the 1420 by itself… I basically think I’ll be using the unit as a hedge trimmer.
Do you still rate the Ego stuff? You had everything Ego, I can’t believe you won’t be using it anymore!
Hey! Yes very good fir the money and longevity but the Kress gear is built just a bit better and plus the battery infrastructure of Kress is amazing!
Interesting video I made the mistake of buying the st1510 after years of using petrol and just can’t get used to it spinning clockwise, huge mistake 😢
The cyber tank is £14!!!! The batteries are £600 a go the mowers £1100 😳😳😳😳 nice gear but that’s a prime example of a company yet again taking the piss on prices. No way it’s worth that much. I’d love to have a setup like it but I may as well work for free to buy it.
The batteries have an 8 year warranty. Tools have a 5 year commercial warranty. You have to take that into consideration. Along with thr fact its the only brand of Battery tools that you can leave fuel out if your setup.
@@mikedaygm absolutely I get all that but it’s rediculous to charge £14k when most people don’t even have a van worth that! The other issue I have is how much damage are these companies doing mining all the materials for the batteries? It’ll work out no better than pumping oil eventually. Van insurance ain’t gonna be cheap either the extra weight costs more fuel, wear and tear on the tyres and brakes etc. they look good I can’t deny it but the only way I’d switch to a full set up by them is if they gifted me it 🤣 I have just looked at the proffesional mowers kress do which do look good value compared to ego ones which I’d never recommend after having a ton of charger and battery issues. I guess it’s still a long way to go for battery equipment.
Hi there. Just watched your video on the new ego 1420 power head. I noticed the motor has a high pitch wine in low position, which you had mentioned. I have heard this observation on other you tube videos from other people. You wondered if the wine would go away after the tool was used and it was “broke in”. Did you notice any difference in the high pitch wine after using the tool for a bit ? I am waiting on a delivery of the new power head. I am hoping the wine goes away.
So after nearly 2 years the whine is unfortunately still present.
Just bought the weed wacker and the edger. Total game changer. I love them!
great video? What the hell is the roller for You never mention anything And what purpose does it serve
Any roller that goes onto the back of the Mower is for laying stripes....
This is the worst song I could possibly imagine to have played with this video. You really should be ashamed of yourself.
What kind of battery is recommended for this machine. I will probably purchase this and the mower (with which I will get 4 Ah battery). I saw 1 review that pot Ego string trimmer on the last spot because of the weight of the battery which caused the machine to rotate if you had it rotated 90 degrees for edging. Ty
Love the Kress equipment, but it's too expensive for my gardening business. Ten thousand for the charging system, that's a lot of gardens to maintain to pay that off.
First cut with my Z6. Don't get the bagger for grass. Clogs and fills too fast. After I took off bagger...awesome mower.
Thanks for the tip!
Can you put the new carbon attachments to the old shaft?
Not the trimmer as mentioned in the video because of the power load terminals featured on the new CF version.
Hi mate, what spec van is yours ? Looks like you have the larger model transit which is what I’ll be looking for (currently have the transit custom ) is it H1 L1 etc ?
Has anybody used them to cat long grass? Makita has ground trimmer attachments for the battery power heads, but they are half the length of the hedge trimmer ones. I just can't get why you can't use a hedge trimmer like this to cut long grass.
It does work in the old unit its just the power load feature that doesnt work
He talks how good it is, but he does not show doing it.
I manually picked all those leaves up and put them in the grass boxes 🤣🤣🤣
This was helpful. Thanks for helping me decide to upgrade.
The whistling sound on this model is annoying.
I really hate that power feed system it sucks . I bought one used it 1 time when I put the line in it just made noise as the line did not feed in the head . I talked to the employee he said he had the same problem . So I’m sure that will not last .
I've had the exact same issues. My unit actually started to smoke from the motor. Lets hope it's been rectified.
@@mikedaygm yea I bought the ego multi tool . I do love the power they have . So I’m going to try a different model .
Great video mate, looking forward to seeing your journey with Kress👍🏼
Ps,have Kress got any hats?🧢 😂
How does the Kress gear compare to Ego? I have all the Ego gear but Kress batteries seem the way to go especially with 3k charge cycles
Hey. So I'm finding the Kress gear very tough and built well. Power is no issue and the charge times you get with the Kress Cybersystem is phenomenal. 8 year warranty on the batteries and 5 years on the tools is best in class.
Thanks for video. Helpful
Nice work Mike. The gear looks impressive.I'm based in Waltham Cross.
Hey Anthony. Thanks for watching mate. Ahh only rund the corner from me! Ever go into Crews Hill?
Not really Mike. The one I did visit was way too expensive. Where would you recommend?@@mikedaygm
Nice 👍
Thanks Anthony 😁
Great job Mike as always 🙏🏻
Thanks Jeff!
Did you say 8 YEAR warranty!! That’s amazing
That's right Adam. 8 year warranty on the batteries and Cybertank and a 5 year warranty on the tools. THATS COMMERCIAL TOO!
Great video Mike, looking good dude 👍🏼
Thanks so much guys! 😁
Great video. But im still windering why you switched to kress if you were happy with ego. Are you doing a paid promotion with kress? Looking forward to seeing all the new content on here.
Hey! I was happy with Ego tools for sure! Still haven't got s bad word to say about them but I don't really like the way their infrastructure is going. The idea of loads of amounts of batteries isn't really the direction I want to continue going in. I much prefer the way Kress are going forwards. Less batteries with 1 big power bank. The fact it also charges batteries in 8 minutes as insane too. So with those hand in hand it's for me, a much better way of working. Plus their tools are ace!
@@mikedaygm cool. Thanks for the response. That's good to know.
can you do a full run time video, get the strimmer on full power for a full battery and let us see the actual power of the batteries, the p[rice for the cyber unit is out of reach for new/smaller business, so i think you could help us see the benefits of 2 batteries in rotation or even one, could i run a day with Kress trimmer, hedge trimmer and a Hayter mower?@@mikedaygm
Good stuff Mike. I wonder if you'll be using the Z6 still on your bigger lawns now your fully Kress or conveniently you wont film those days 🤣🤣
Hey Ricky! So I've started to advertise my z6 for Sale. This was one of the lawns I used to use thr z6 on. I'm hopefully going to Implement a Kress Robotic Mower in some of the larger lawns!
Have you stopped using ego now?
Hey. I've personally stopped using it. I'm 100% with Kress now. It would have taken a very good product and platform to switch... and I have so says alot about it.
@@mikedaygm yeah must be good. Looking forward to seeing the full range in use 👍
