I'd be down to see an Isle Mistakes Tier List. A tier list ranking all the different mistakes and fuck ups the game has made throughout the years, or at least the really big main ones, because let's be honest, the longest tier list in the world is not enough to rank every single mistake this game has made. Things like the Anky debate, their handling of the Paradym situation, adding Stego in Evrima, Oasis, the Cerato nerfs, Isla Spero and many, many, many others would be pretty high up there.
And guess who doesn't make mistakes (given their mistakes and not someones rumored missinterpretation) - one who doesn't do anything/participate anywhere. Oh, and just lackluster games, like TI copy-cats.
Yeah cera is pretty underestimated since people say the lack of bleed and bleed resistance makes it one of the worst dinos yet its really good if you know how to use it, besides like you said since cera has good damage with fast attack speed can dispute out alot of damage and bleed resistance, despite being low, can be dealt with since cera has pretty good normal and bleed heal
Dilo let bleed cera with just one bite, just one U trade Heal the bleed as dilo and dont ket the cera sit down over Allo Beat cera too Ambush run Bite trade and run away with allo am ambush And repeat Cera chanceless The good players know how to counter him, thats often why cera isnt popular
@@texavery626 alright, don't get me wrong I've killed dilos and allos as cerato as I've found strategies to avoid those exact but let's take an average cera player, of course a smart dilo and allo could definitely take them down problem is tho that's kinda the only dinos you mentioned, as other dinos that can be it are also known to beat allo and carno like Diablo or something that you can only lose is if you have no brain like a sucho, unless the sucho uses water to its advantage or can break check a cera, cera has a better time against dinos that destroy allo and dilo, Maia just obliterates dilo as it's far faster that it while having a headbutt damage capable of taking down a dilo and you can't bleed it out because Maias have incredible bleed resistance and bleed heal but cera can very well take it down because it's high damage actually is enough to get rid of a Maia, and a allo has a tough time with sucho while cera can take a hit and get behind to the ends of the earth. What im trying to say is despite cera having counters of its own being dilo and allo, doesn't mean it's a bad thing, hell I think their should be dinos of similar size or smaller to be capable enough to take down cera because if not their be to much wrong with that and people wouldn't play other options. Oh something I would like to share is that cera can beat carno pretty effectively by running to the side of a carno while they run then immediately face the carno to charge at it in order to get a bite in without being hit yourself, just to note its best advise to move to the opposite where the carnos running to like if it's running to your right you run to your left, but anyways their yah go
Totally agree with the rex being so OP it's broken. I also call it the body snatcher. As it is not the best hunter/tracker with his low speed and bad stamina, but its brute biteforce makes it that nobody wants to mess with it. I usually just chill in areas with herds and wait for other carnies to make a kill, then I slowly walk in and 3 call them to claim the body and feed my lazy and always hungry rex.
Have you seen all the new studies on trex? They were broken in real life to. Every new study gives the trex a freaking upgrade, strongest terrestrial bite force, better vision then a hawk, better smell then a vulture, could turn on a dime, were so bulky and muscular that they're now back to being considered the largest land carnivor, hell there was even a recent study that suggested they could have been as smart as freaking baboons, at the very least they were smarter then any other large dinosaur. At this point it's just funny
I feel like He didn't go more in-depth about the Cerato. all he talked about were its advantages. he never brought up the 1 major downside that makes cerato so awful. It has by far the WORST bleed res in the entire game. Everything can bleed a cera. in my opinion, cera should be in the c tier. the same thing goes for Alberto. he never mentioned Albert's terrible stamina regen and it also has bad bleed res.

Ankys in evrima will definetly be really strong, will have really good resistance against damage and will definetly have bone break , and its guaranteed that they will be slow.

I personally think allo should be a tier since if you are allo main it’s easy to take down 2+ ceras or 2+carnos if you stay near water to prevent tail riding
As a cerato main, glad to see it appreciated. As someone with only 300 hours in the isle, and who sucks at pvp, I can take on packs of utahs and even a few Dino’s, it’s amazing to tailride as and also destroy tailriders. It’s also fast as fuck.

Well, Camas have trample damage wich deals a ton of damage ! So, in combat, if a Cama runs at you or face you, it's not a fair trade. B tier would be more appropriate. Even if Shant is better, the stamina pool of Cama assures an escape.
Easy like! I have only played those two S rank herbivores, because plants are everywhere and I'm not a fighter, but I guess it's time to play again and try a carnivore. I liked Dino's design but didn't think he'd be a glass cannon. I LOVE GLASS CANNONS!!
Now I’m not sure if this cerato was hacking, but I was playing asura 5 and it killed me and my friends adult spinos and lived. It didn’t even take long either it tail rid both of us, didn’t get hit once and killed us in less than 20 seconds.

For this one I land a positive and a negative opinion. The Positive is about the Cerato! The Powerhouse of the Isle! Their playstyle is just hands down the most enjoyeable in my opinion. Having a Growth time of only 2 and half hours, means that if you make a mistake, you can restart it, and play one or more adult in a single day. Having very good attack speed, nice Damage per bite, puts them into a Brawler-like Dino....but why they are so awesome? Their Heal and their Turn stats. Their Turn speed, and Turn Radius are one of the funniest and best of the Game. You can tailride a Rex, with theese guys, and defeat a king of the Isle, without getting hit! Their turn speed allways warns Dilos at night that you can turn after their stupid ambush, and their radius is so so satisfyingly small. You can hunt much much more bigger pray, Allos, Rexes, Sub Apexes. Altho i don't reccomend tailride a Giga, because it can turn better than a Rex, also a Skilled Rex can use Z walk hitbox to kill you when you are behind it. But overall The Cera is one of my favourite Dinosaurs in the game! Very satisfying to play as, and a suprisingly Cute face as well. LoL. Their weaknesses? Their Hp unfortunately, and their legendary paper legs. You can break their legs, just about everywhere XD Now about the Negative. Suprisingly!!! Dilos!!! F Dilos!!! For me Dilos are the pure toxicness and opness of the Isle. I am devastatedly dissapointed that the Devs haven't come back to tune their power down just a bit. Having ONLY just under 2 hour growth time for a creature this powerful is ridiclious. Insane turn speed, so it can tailride the Maia, wich is supposed to be their natural enemy. Insane speed, able to outrun anything in the game, except raptors, wich is the other toxic dino in my opinion. Having insane PASSIVE DPS. Yes. Passive DPS. all you need to do, is just go in their arses, bite them once or twice, and they'll bleed down, without the hope of catching you. And my most favourite fact about it, is that either the most toxic players plays this dino only, who never respect rules. Or just PVP Gods, that can 1v3 3 adult Rexes without much of a problem. I. Hate. Dilos. Their weakness, should be the inpatience of a player, or their Health Pool. Well, it would be their health pool, but if you die with a Dilo, you can just restart easily and grow it, under 2 hour again to terrorize the entire server. Addition to dissapointment. Trikes should turn way way faster, they cannot answer engagements as well because they are so slow. Poor Potatoes.
Now if they’d add all these creatures to evrima rather than pouring resources and time into making a new map every 6 months. Evrima’s lack of diversity is one of it biggest problems because Deinos everywhere…
should rename this '1v1 head on z turn tier list' I wouldnt play half of the dinos how you describe being their weaknesses, eg carnos, allos, para, stego
I just avoided rexes, I have gotten so good in fact I generally didnt have to deal with them unless I wanted to. I usually mained giga so the only time I fought rexes was with a buddy, one giga cant really take out a rex but 2 gigas can take on 2 rexes. In the end though most rex players are kinda dumb so despite my potato pc which fucks me when I try and tail ride I can still take on the majority of rexes, I also hate playing rex and think they aren't fun because they feel clunky and useless since no one wants to fight you and you can't catch anyone unless they are blind, stupid, or unlucky. Gigas basically need to be in a pair to function, otherwise a utah will come along and eat your ass but a pair of gigas can take out anything so long as they know what they are doing. One of my favorites was me and my buddy killing 3 rexes, we also took out two spoons once and both times felt epic.
Dibble is my favourite dinosaur to play. Its turn radius is so good I just pretend I'm a noob by moving stupidly, turn my back on an enemy, they'll run up behind me and I'll turn around and smash em, high af bleed output too
This game just makes it unplayable for a majority of dinos that they have which limits the amount of Dinos that you can actually play as and have fun with, they should implement things to make it fun to play as a herb like fast growing dinos should be easy kills and slow growing dinos should be hardcore to kill, slow moving dinos should be tanky, do more damage, fast turning speed, and medium attack speeds, when fully grown, and for scavenger dinos should have the strongest scent range, and should have poison, more chances of doing bleed, or can give dinos diseases to defend itself or hunt smaller dinos, and they should be fast, overall this game needs reworking and improvement of current dinos and not implementing more broken Dinos, just like Evrima where everything is balanced and make sense as of version 6.0 despite having limited dinos to play as, but in return all are fun to play as
I think austro and herrera arnt ass bad they still can kill some small tiers ... ok only 3 or 4 but still their insane speed also makes them hard to take down since they can just run away
I've seen average rexes beat decent players and that sais something about how busted rex is . spino is also freaking op I'd put them both in broken tier
Para can kill any low tier dino with their front leg attack, mainly dilos, utahs. and camaras heal bleed just by standing up rather than sitting, I've killed gigas using just the tail attack and trample and just standing to work off bleed
I disagree with you . para kick is so easy to avoid . it has trash turn radius , very bad bleed heal and ofcourse the headbutt hitbox sucks . cama gets destroyed by rex after legbreak . spino and giga will bleed you out if they get enough bites even if you try to heal it standing
@@whipper917 Cama heals leg break very quickly, Cama also one shot kills rexes gigas and spinos if their head touches the hips of Cama. Cama also can 100% hold off bleed by standing, Para can definitely destroy utahs and dilos because I have done it, these are all things I've done multiple times both in deathmatch and survival.
@@mothman20 are you referring to cama stomp when you say giga,rex and spino get one shot touching the hips ? if so cama stomp is the most predictable thing I have ever seen . yes the damage is good but it's so predictable and slow . also so you're telling me if cama stands still it will fully heal giga bleed ? hmm I really doubt that but I'm willing to test this in deathmatch . personally I find best tip with cama is being undpredictable as hell trying to get that trample + tail whip whenever you can . I feel like stomp is really not helpful agaonst experienced players . also about the instant leg break heal yes you're right . I don't really know how it works but sometimes it heals very fast sometimes it doesn't . and I'm not sure if this is true but when rex bites more constantly usually leg heal doesn't happen for me . but I'll put it this way if cama doesn't get leg break you're right it destroys rex . if it does get leg break however it's super easy for rex to just walk beside it and bite it avoiding tail whip hitbox . as for para I can understand if you are really good with it you bait dilos and utahs into the kick but even then what about midtiers ? I personally really have no problems killing paras . just stay on the nip of the tail and you'll have enough time to react if they try to brake check and kick you . this is my experience
wait till this guy finds out that half the cast can ride a rex withour any problems whatsoever, especially utah. Btw a good spino kills everything and goes 50/50 w a rex, spoon nr1 rex utah tied 2nd
I disagree that utahs are able to tail ride everything. I've never seen a galli being tail ride by them. But it may be because a lot of unexperienced player use utah that I've never witnessed it.
Acro regens from 10% to 100% 3 hours, it's literally unplayable, lol. Yes, acro has good fight potential, nice bleed, speed etc, but it also has potential of healing 1 allo's bite for half an hour, if not much longer.
Rex are only good because they break leg. They are easily tail ridden and I honestly thing they are the worst apex. Skill-less dinosaur that has a mechanic that shouldn't even be caused in the first place by a dino. Leg break.
it doesn't matter if they have a bad turn or ... rex is a combat god . bone break is way too big of a game changing mechanic and it's way too rewarding for just getting one bite . a good rex player if it knows every matchup and how to play it can absolutely demolish every other apex . sometimes even win 2v1s . it also doesn't help that rex has such a broken hitbox . literally snipes you so easily and that one bite is enough for you to just lose because rex breaks your leg . look at this comparison for example . spino is op too . high hp , fast turn and ... we can both agree that spinos are really good . but when you play spino you can still get stomped by a shant if you get break checked . you can still die if you're not careful . but lets look at rex . as soon as you break shants leg . thats just good game lol . nothing shant can do and you don't even have to worry about getting stomped anymore . my point is bone break in legacy is just a broken mechanic . it might've helped if some other dinos had it too so it might've balanced out but nope only rex has it

Though I can quite easily kill rex as a giga if I do hit my triple bites it's just annoying how it does crazy damage, leg break and is fast af. It's not fair at all.

I mean it's a game after all and you need to let go of realism sometimes for balance . my logic for this game is if you can't run you should be able to fight but if you can't fight you should be able to run from or hide . obviously I'm not taking ambush and or numbers into consideration because obviously they are elements of surprise or number advantage which is completely ok if you are outnumbered you shouldn't be able to wreck like 5 same tier dinos . and ambush gives you an advantage which is sometimes the prey's fault for not paying attention or just the player was very smart with approaching and not being seen . but on a 1v1 for example if a para sees a predator it should be able to run away from an apex predator but if you look at legacy giga is the bane of midtiers . a dedicated giga will eventually trot down a para or sucho or ... which means the balance isn't good here . also dinos like anky can't defend themselves from apexes yet they can't run from them either basically makes them useless . in conclusion I really hope they consider this balancing in evrima because if you add a useless dino you're just taking space and wasting time

the main advantage of cero, imo, is its juvi state is probably the best out of any dino making it really easy to grow, allos are weak as juvis

Utah is one of the only challengers to rex. The two most broke Dino’s hate each other to a very personal level.

Yeah if you are fully grown T-Rex is the most broken, but its hard to grow because you get killed all the time and takes a very long time to grow ngl

As a newer player, I can say that I dont see half these dinosaurs on the list to choose from in the game.
I miss the ceratos old ambush speed
For this one I land a positive and a negative opinion.
The Positive is about the Cerato! The Powerhouse of the Isle!
Their playstyle is just hands down the most enjoyeable in my opinion. Having a Growth time of only 2 and half hours, means that if you make a mistake, you can restart it, and play one or more adult in a single day. Having very good attack speed, nice Damage per bite, puts them into a Brawler-like Dino....but why they are so awesome? Their Heal and their Turn stats. Their Turn speed, and Turn Radius are one of the funniest and best of the Game. You can tailride a Rex, with theese guys, and defeat a king of the Isle, without getting hit! Their turn speed allways warns Dilos at night that you can turn after their stupid ambush, and their radius is so so satisfyingly small. You can hunt much much more bigger pray, Allos, Rexes, Sub Apexes. Altho i don't reccomend tailride a Giga, because it can turn better than a Rex, also a Skilled Rex can use Z walk hitbox to kill you when you are behind it.
But overall The Cera is one of my favourite Dinosaurs in the game! Very satisfying to play as, and a suprisingly Cute face as well. LoL.
Their weaknesses? Their Hp unfortunately, and their legendary paper legs. You can break their legs, just about everywhere XD
Now about the Negative. Suprisingly!!! Dilos!!! F Dilos!!!
For me Dilos are the pure toxicness and opness of the Isle. I am devastatedly dissapointed that the Devs haven't come back to tune their power down just a bit.
Having ONLY just under 2 hour growth time for a creature this powerful is ridiclious. Insane turn speed, so it can tailride the Maia, wich is supposed to be their natural enemy. Insane speed, able to outrun anything in the game, except raptors, wich is the other toxic dino in my opinion.
Having insane PASSIVE DPS. Yes. Passive DPS. all you need to do, is just go in their arses, bite them once or twice, and they'll bleed down, without the hope of catching you.
And my most favourite fact about it, is that either the most toxic players plays this dino only, who never respect rules. Or just PVP Gods, that can 1v3 3 adult Rexes without much of a problem. I. Hate. Dilos.
Their weakness, should be the inpatience of a player, or their Health Pool. Well, it would be their health pool, but if you die with a Dilo, you can just restart easily and grow it, under 2 hour again to terrorize the entire server.
Addition to dissapointment. Trikes should turn way way faster, they cannot answer engagements as well because they are so slow.

Now if they’d add all these creatures to evrima rather than pouring resources and time into making a new map every 6 months. Evrima’s lack of diversity is one of it biggest problems because Deinos everywhere…

Carnos having an ass turn radius is scientifically accurate but I see why it's not great in this type of game

Imo, spino would also be in broken. I’ve killed many rexes as spino.
I just avoided rexes, I have gotten so good in fact I generally didnt have to deal with them unless I wanted to. I usually mained giga so the only time I fought rexes was with a buddy, one giga cant really take out a rex but 2 gigas can take on 2 rexes. In the end though most rex players are kinda dumb so despite my potato pc which fucks me when I try and tail ride I can still take on the majority of rexes, I also hate playing rex and think they aren't fun because they feel clunky and useless since no one wants to fight you and you can't catch anyone unless they are blind, stupid, or unlucky. Gigas basically need to be in a pair to function, otherwise a utah will come along and eat your ass but a pair of gigas can take out anything so long as they know what they are doing. One of my favorites was me and my buddy killing 3 rexes, we also took out two spoons once and both times felt epic.
As someone who has 1300 hours in legacy; I fully approve of this tier list.

Dibble is my favourite dinosaur to play. Its turn radius is so good I just pretend I'm a noob by moving stupidly, turn my back on an enemy, they'll run up behind me and I'll turn around and smash em, high af bleed output too
This game just makes it unplayable for a majority of dinos that they have which limits the amount of Dinos that you can actually play as and have fun with, they should implement things to make it fun to play as a herb like fast growing dinos should be easy kills and slow growing dinos should be hardcore to kill, slow moving dinos should be tanky, do more damage, fast turning speed, and medium attack speeds, when fully grown, and for scavenger dinos should have the strongest scent range, and should have poison, more chances of doing bleed, or can give dinos diseases to defend itself or hunt smaller dinos, and they should be fast, overall this game needs reworking and improvement of current dinos and not implementing more broken Dinos, just like Evrima where everything is balanced and make sense as of version 6.0 despite having limited dinos to play as, but in return all are fun to play as

I think austro and herrera arnt ass bad they still can kill some small tiers ... ok only 3 or 4 but still their insane speed also makes them hard to take down since they can just run away
Albertos are A or low S tier...can run down most anything and cab facetank everything up to a dibble
albertos are just a better allo nothing else, still lose to good acros any anything above

Huh weird for Cama to rank so low. It's always been my strongest pick in deathmatch. Trample and tail were plenty to take down even apexes.

What I have learned from this video. Spino's, they just don't give a fuck.
Para can kill any low tier dino with their front leg attack, mainly dilos, utahs. and camaras heal bleed just by standing up rather than sitting, I've killed gigas using just the tail attack and trample and just standing to work off bleed
I disagree with you . para kick is so easy to avoid . it has trash turn radius , very bad bleed heal and ofcourse the headbutt hitbox sucks . cama gets destroyed by rex after legbreak . spino and giga will bleed you out if they get enough bites even if you try to heal it standing
@@whipper917 Cama heals leg break very quickly, Cama also one shot kills rexes gigas and spinos if their head touches the hips of Cama. Cama also can 100% hold off bleed by standing, Para can definitely destroy utahs and dilos because I have done it, these are all things I've done multiple times both in deathmatch and survival.
@@mothman20 are you referring to cama stomp when you say giga,rex and spino get one shot touching the hips ? if so cama stomp is the most predictable thing I have ever seen . yes the damage is good but it's so predictable and slow . also so you're telling me if cama stands still it will fully heal giga bleed ? hmm I really doubt that but I'm willing to test this in deathmatch . personally I find best tip with cama is being undpredictable as hell trying to get that trample + tail whip whenever you can . I feel like stomp is really not helpful agaonst experienced players . also about the instant leg break heal yes you're right . I don't really know how it works but sometimes it heals very fast sometimes it doesn't . and I'm not sure if this is true but when rex bites more constantly usually leg heal doesn't happen for me . but I'll put it this way if cama doesn't get leg break you're right it destroys rex . if it does get leg break however it's super easy for rex to just walk beside it and bite it avoiding tail whip hitbox . as for para I can understand if you are really good with it you bait dilos and utahs into the kick but even then what about midtiers ? I personally really have no problems killing paras . just stay on the nip of the tail and you'll have enough time to react if they try to brake check and kick you . this is my experience

I disagree that utahs are able to tail ride everything. I've never seen a galli being tail ride by them. But it may be because a lot of unexperienced player use utah that I've never witnessed it.

Acro regens from 10% to 100% 3 hours, it's literally unplayable, lol. Yes, acro has good fight potential, nice bleed, speed etc, but it also has potential of healing 1 allo's bite for half an hour, if not much longer.

Rex are only good because they break leg. They are easily tail ridden and I honestly thing they are the worst apex. Skill-less dinosaur that has a mechanic that shouldn't even be caused in the first place by a dino. Leg break.
it doesn't matter if they have a bad turn or ... rex is a combat god . bone break is way too big of a game changing mechanic and it's way too rewarding for just getting one bite . a good rex player if it knows every matchup and how to play it can absolutely demolish every other apex . sometimes even win 2v1s . it also doesn't help that rex has such a broken hitbox . literally snipes you so easily and that one bite is enough for you to just lose because rex breaks your leg . look at this comparison for example . spino is op too . high hp , fast turn and ... we can both agree that spinos are really good . but when you play spino you can still get stomped by a shant if you get break checked . you can still die if you're not careful . but lets look at rex . as soon as you break shants leg . thats just good game lol . nothing shant can do and you don't even have to worry about getting stomped anymore . my point is bone break in legacy is just a broken mechanic . it might've helped if some other dinos had it too so it might've balanced out but nope only rex has it
@@whipper917 just doesn't make sense to me how rex is the fastest out of the apex's in the game and also breaks leg. It's unbalanced and your comment proves this quite well. Though I can quite easily kill rex as a giga if I do hit my triple bites it's just annoying how it does crazy damage, leg break and is fast af. It's not fair at all.
@@callumohg8613 ye as you said you can kill rex with triples I do the same strat with my trike ( although trike has a shit hitbox ) but we can both agree that every single matchup is in favor of rex . like as you said if a good giga or trike go against a good rex , yes it's possible for the giga or trike to win but the matchup is highly in favor of the rex . bone break in legacy is just bad design and it specially makes things worse since it's only on one dino basically breaks the balance of the game

@@callumohg8613 I generally think bringing full realism into games is wrong . I mean it's a game after all and you need to let go of realism sometimes for balance . my logic for this game is if you can't run you should be able to fight but if you can't fight you should be able to run from or hide . obviously I'm not taking ambush and or numbers into consideration because obviously they are elements of surprise or number advantage which is completely ok if you are outnumbered you shouldn't be able to wreck like 5 same tier dinos . and ambush gives you an advantage which is sometimes the prey's fault for not paying attention or just the player was very smart with approaching and not being seen . but on a 1v1 for example if a para sees a predator it should be able to run away from an apex predator but if you look at legacy giga is the bane of midtiers . a dedicated giga will eventually trot down a para or sucho or ... which means the balance isn't good here . also dinos like anky can't defend themselves from apexes yet they can't run from them either basically makes them useless . in conclusion I really hope they consider this balancing in evrima because if you add a useless dino you're just taking space and wasting time
