3:12 How to slow down and improve brain damage
In this video, I want to give you a quick way to know if you have brain damage. The truth is, everyone acquires some degree of damage in their brain as they age. This has to do with a lack of fuel in your neurons.
In one study, it was shown that the average person loses about 30% of their brain cells as they reach old age. This happens very gradually over time. The early signs of dementia can come on slowly-you might start forgetting where you put your keys or forget someone’s name.
When your neurons are starving of fuel, you will notice:
    • Loss of memory
    • Lack of clarity
    • Loss of focus and poor attention span
This all comes from consuming a high carbohydrate diet. Over time, carbs cause insulin resistance, and glucose cannot supply the brain cells with energy.
Neurons actually prefer a different type of fuel: ketones. If given a choice between glucose and ketones, your neurons will choose ketones every time.
There are two simple experiments you can do to find out if you have brain damage:
    1. Go on a healthy ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting plan, which promotes the creation of ketones.
    2. Use MCT oil - this instantly creates ketones.
After 1-2 weeks, take note of your cognitive improvements. If there are significant improvements, this could be a sign of damage due to low nutrients in your brain. In this case, it’s important to stay on a keto and intermittent fasting plan. It may even help reverse damage done to the brain.

One thing a person can do to contribute to brain health is to drink water. The amount varies among people. The brain needs a minimum of 1/4 cup of water per hour to function the best. People might drink other liquids if they thirst. Liquids such as dairy milk, soda, coffee, beer, wine or juice. What the brain AND body need is water. When I'm teaching, I always bring lots of drinking water for students. I believe that learning is easier with a hydrated brain.

I was a boxer on the Army world class athlete program that has PTSD and TBI. my diet was not what it is now so that didn't help. I was also starving myself regularly for making my fighting weight. My performance was below my standards badly.
Years later I started eating low carb higher fat. I now feel like I'm reborn. My mind is so sharp. My body is doing things people can't believe. Thank you for helping so many people. I found you later in my journey. But I still appreciate you very much for the informative and caring work you do.

I and other people I know resolved SO many health problems by going zero in sugar & artificial ingredients consumptions and by watching our carbs (quality/quantity) & by increasing our fiber, probiotics, and omega-3 consumption
You don’t have to go all the way keto IMHO but incorporate healthy fats
Some of us do Intermittent fasting here & there and found it VERY helpful
But the fresher & more in season the items you consume the better (go less boxed or bagged goods if you can)
      Best of luck :)
      Edit:
also usually the advice is that if you do one thing that is organic .. it would be animal products (try to consume only the meats & dairy that are organic & good quality)

Then during the morning, I drink decaf coffee + 1 stevia + 2 tbsp heavy cream OR 1 tbsp of Coconut oil.
Within the day, I finish the lemon by using and an infuser bottle and add 1/2 or 1/4 tbsp of ACV so it helps boost my energy.
When I exercise, I take the ACV + Lemon instead of just water. It really helps!
At night I drink tea with heavy cream or just plane tea. It depends on my meals that day.

I went out like a light as a kid from heat stress. Woke up a week later in my grandma's bed.
As an adult they stuck my head in a scanner and the psychiatrist told me that my brains were asymmetrical.
Later I found out that everybodies brains are asymmetrical.
