I can already see the amount of people that will not get the point of the video and immediately get defensive about their beards. Dudes not saying don’t have a beard he’s just saying to at least be presentable. It’s amazing how many overly emotional men are out there today. 😂

You're so right about people letting them selves go hygienically when they're depressed. It happened to me. Went to the army, and after shaving everything and getting a buzz cut I INSTANTLY felt like a new man even before I did anything hard. Seriously, going through a real physical struggle such as the army (I don't recommend it for the wrong reasons, you don't want to get killed for a country that doesn't care about you, but) you understand just how strong you can be. Challenging yourself daily is something most people don't do, but it will fucking transform you. Surrounding yourself with people that are smarter than you, eating clean, being as strong as you can, idealizing beauty in little things, trying to become smarter and respecting yourself as a child of God is the key to success in any area of life. You can survive anything, if you understand and respect yourself enough.

hey elisha, i never comment or interact with youtube videos but i just wanted to say thank you, your the only self improvement channel that is true and that gives valuable advice, it doesnt do anything with the other bs like no fap cold showers etc, but it sticks to the basics and i think thats what we need, just sticking to the basics, being kind, eat and sleep well, going to the gym, find god and do well to others, if you start actually acting and stop doing bs that doesnt matter, your life will actually change and you will escape the self improvement matrix, which i already realized it is, maybe not you but youll get there, anyway, thank you elisha

I think I may have needed to hear this. Elishas spitting facts in this one. And personally I think "aura" comes down to passion, when you master a skill, no matter what it is even if its something you think people think is mundane if you put passion into it you will have aura. Some people develop their aura through drawing, some people developed their aura riding into battle on horseback, hero's journey is so important, don't be a recluse and find the right balance, have high thumos and work on your craft gentlemen! This is advice for my self just as much as it is for anyone else! The whole too smart to play the game is just a massive cope, I know this because I'm guilty of it, lets get out there! Deep down we all inherently know what needs to be done and we all have fears to overcome.

It's definitely not mean, it's Iron Sharpening Iron. The internal shame most men ruminate on every single day is way meaner than what you can say. Your words are mean to that evil spirit that is trying to keep us weak, but your words are strength to the men who want to change and be great in the world. You're spot on. To any man struggling with these thoughts, don't tie your identity to your current weakness and actions (or failure to act). Man up, scoop your nuts, admit your faults, and keep pressing on. All we are guaranteed in this life is the struggle, so don't find it shocking when you face resistance. Times are tough? GOOD. Let's get it.

Is difficult to change this kind of mindset. When you ugly and socially awkward all your life and you said "is your fault", you basically saying that is hes fault that he is the way it is, since childhood, i don't think this is right. There are people who really is different, by nature. They don't like to talk about normal stuffs, they shy and they naturally rejected (and naturally reject) normal things, stuffs and normal people, from the start. Even these "defeated" people have some kind of pride and don't want to beg for social acceptance or recognition, otherwise, they would have to live for this purpose, they would have to change who they are, against their nature, they would have to pretend they like what people like, to talk about what they don't want to, they would have to pretend they care about things they don't, they would have to care about how they're are dressed, if is trendy, etc. Is exhausting to pretend all the time when you around people... I totally agreed on the part that everybody should be "presentable", but more than that, is social pressure and norms to be accepted.
I don't know, i just think that: there are people who are so naturally rejected that they would have to live and think all the time how to be accepted, doing things that they don't want to. The best options for them are: Seek for people who are like them and have fewer friends or find lone activities to focus on, giving preference for difficult activities that require full attention, creativity and cognition, get some money to survive and not think about the rest, is a "escape form reality" but a productive escape. Unfortunately, i have to agree with you on this, a lot of these lonely guys, instead of focus of difficult/productive activities, they are distract by porn, games, series/animes and other unproductive distractions. But i don't agree that naturally reject people should beg for social acceptance, love or social recognition beyond what is acceptable to do, is humiliating to beg or do everything for that.

You can only be psyop'ed when your told that certain ideas are "off-limits"... once you break free of the idea that you are a bad person for thinking and seeing things a certain way, then you actually have something meaningful to talk about with your cohorts... something you can all see and agree on that needs "fixing".... a path toward action starts to develop...

I went bald very very young (I had to shave my head before I turned 20), so I always had a beard to balance things out. But now in my early 30s, I keep something that's between stubble and a short, trimmed beard. All neat and tidy.
There are too many bald and bearded guys out there; it's probably a good solution (read cope) but we become all and the same. It's a tough predicament to be in, especially in the age of hyper choices with women being able to discard you with a single click when they have infinite options.

@@fredof4413 Hair systems are expensive and require colossal maintenance to the point you're enslaved to it.
Another flaw it has is that most guys that go bald, also recede on the sides of the head (temples). A dead giveaway of hair systems is a guy that has hair on top but no hair on the sides, it's uncanny and disproportionate.
But for people that wear systems and are happy with them, I have no issue with it, I personally am not cut out for it.

You right but you wrong. Believe your own thoughts is not about intelligence, is about the reality the individual can see, even if he is wrong. And i don't think a terrible perception of reality is because of the lack of experience, cause there are experience old people who had a life and they just change and give up. Maybe, in the examples you give, you right, generally for young people. But there other experienced people who don't care much about appearance, status or any kind of recognition anymore, for a some different kind of reasons at different times in life.

Just not a big fan of over the top hyperbolic titles... it's not the beard ruining anyone's life. It's what the beard represents, a lack of care for oneself, it's a sign that someone has given up. A lot of philosophy is concerned with the problems of suffering and evil in this world.
Don't make your body into a cult.
Hundreds of bodies of children are getting blown up everyday by bombs. The ones who survive stay without limbs.
Be grateful for the mind that you have and the virtue, don't make the mistake of idolizing yourself or your body.
If you lose any of it - will your mind be able to take it?

There's also definitely nothing wrong with having existential thoughts, for some people it's unavoidable. I'd recommend the book 'autobiography of a yogi'. The contents bridge the gap between science and religion, mysticism and practical reasoning. Life is not some happenstance temporal experience, it's also a spiritual journey of self realization

Maybe youre right. I wake up at 6, work out, support two teenagers a dog and a cat with one income. I feel like I still have enough “self work” to do that my beard, which covers half my chest at this point, protects me from jumping into something that me/we aren’t ready for. Plus I work outside and it keeps my face warm. But I do see your point. A very sweet woman at the grocery store, maybe 5 years younger than myself and so beautiful today went out of her way to talk to me and I basically just shrugged her off and now I might never see her again. Theres a part of me that feels stupid for not getting her number and a part of me that feels that Im doing all I can do to raise these kids by myself and she was interested in me, not all that. So when theyre 18, I will shave my beard😂
