I always believed that there is a difference between an artist and someone who just happens to be able to draw because they learned the techniques. I count myself to the second group. give me a pen and I will probs be able to draw whatever you ask me to draw. But I would never come up with the idea to draw something like this so spontaniously. I have the techniques, I can draw. But I lack creativity. I think creativity is what differentiates a real artist from someone who just happens to be able to draw because they learned it. I see tons of videos of people drawing cute anime girls over and over and over. And nothing more. These aren't real artists to me, tbh. They are just people who learned how to draw cute anime girls and now have a youtube channel where they draw cute anime girls over and over in hope that their channel grows and they make some cash.
Thanks a lot ! Maybe I'm wrong, but I like to believe that creativity can also be trained... Anyway I suggest you try this if you want, you might be surprised of what your hand can do when you calm your brain :)
