Yeah he typically likes the high end watches and while Rolex has history behind it, it's also notoriously overpriced and overhyped like RM not to mention the waiting list whole debacle

@@magyck4849 Jacob is a Jeweller. Their markup percentages are too high. Watch the video where producermichael negotiates with Jacob. He gives him 50% off so easily, the margins are so high and the watch itself is overpriced and big. It's like wearing a brick on your wrist.

RM has a good chance of remaining the hype brand for a very long time. Like Ferrari turning you away when you show up to buy for your new Ferrari, RM have cleverly restricted supply...so the more the billionaires demand one the easier it becomes for RM to turn them away as it simply increases the value every produced watch. And unlike the other hype brand Rolex, RM can actually build a complicated watch.

Most of the people are gonna take the Pateck because the price will not fall for sure on that watch
@@blind.screen i think the Nautilus is the only Patek I would pass over if offered an RM of equivalent value. That 1970s Tony Montana Miami design aesthetic reminds me of a fancy Movado. LOL. As soon as I saw Watch Eric wearing a rose gold Nautilus the CRM channel I knew the first time Patek buyers like NBA players would double the prices of the Nautilus. But I give Patek credit for catering to all deep pockets.

I love the recent videos but I also used to love when Nico would talk about the details of the watches and show off his knowledge about watches rather than just make jokes all the time, I think a mixture of the two would make these videos absolutely unreal.

The Panerai was estimated to sell at $40-80,000, and sold for $214,200
And it was a gift form Panerai... he never did purchase it...allegedly.
Remember he's putting these watches up for charity so having his name added to it will up the proceeds

When it comes to the watches that went to auction the Panerai from Daylight is really the most significant and should carry the most "Added value" vs the others which are just your run of the mill overpriced RMs... that PAM is 30 years old and started an entire brand's following
