This guy, sorry I forgot the name of his channel, forgot that he was making a video about the still famous groups from the sixties... or was it the most popular groups..or whatever.... He talks like he hears for the first time about them,
What a load of crap..... those who came up with this title are the only ones who forgot about these bands. Apparently YOU are the ONLY ones who forgot about them. People who love music and who especially grew up in the era .... NEVER forgot these great bands.
I think the architects of these "forgotten" videos are aiming at the under thirty year old generation. The over thirties share some nostalgia with their parents, and the parents have not forgotten any of these bands. The under thirties are too involved with their evolving selves to feel a connection or even a curiosity about what happened sixty years ago.
Humble Pie Savoy Brown not mentioned the continual double references describing theses bands is enough where I won't be back. NONE of these bands are forgotten COME ON MAN?
What are your next Videos? "The Beatles - an insider tip for music specialists" "Elvis Presley - He changed music history, but the world has forgotten his name"

Wow....forgot that long-forgotten band "The Rolling Stones". Wonder if anyone remembers them!!! Jerry Garcia must have given you some good drugs indeed 🤪
When this video started with the Stooges I thought this video might actually knock it out of the park, but only Moby Grape and possibly the Velvet Underground would go close to be a forgotten band. The remainder of the bands are all very well known and often still played very regularly on the radio. Quite a few are amongst the best remembered acts from the 60s. The Monkees don't really belong there because they weren't really a band in the traditional sense.
Though The Monkees began their life as “The Per-fab Four”, they progressed into a “band in the traditional sense” who included Frank Zappa in their fan base.
The Stooges .. okay, maybe kids have forgotten Iggy Pop. Jefferson Airplane ... uhhhh... well, MAYBE, but I'd have thought people still remembered White Rabbit and Somebody to Love, at least. The Monkees? What is this guy smoking? Who doesn't remember the Monkees? Daydream Believer, Last Train to Clarksville, Pleasant Valley Sunday, I'm a Believer, Randy Scouse Git, A Little Bit Me, a Little Bit You? Are we talking about the same Monkees? Simon and Garfunkel. Let me say that again: SIMON. and. GARFUNKEL. Sound of Silence. Bridge over Troubled Water. The Boxer. Mrs. Robinson. Scarborough Fair. Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard. El Condor Pasa. I Am a Rock. Hazy Shade of Winter. Cecilia. Feelin' Groovy. That's it, I'm outta here before he starts telling me about this forgotten band called The Beetles or something like that and telling UA-cam never to show me anything else from this channel; guy's a idiot.
I don't think that the 60s forgot the who or the stones. I got a feeling you're smoking better weed than me when you made this because you're so off base
I don't understand this video. What are doing Simon & Garfunkel, The Moody Blues, Deep Purple, the Who and The Rolling Stones ( probably the best and most enduring Rock & Roll Band) in this list ? Groups that time has forgotten ????
SPENCER DAVIS GROUP EVEN SIME OF OLDER GUYS GOT BACK UP AND ALIVE EVEN MORE CHUCK BERRY GOT A FEW MORE OUT THE INSTRUMENTAL PLAYERS ,STEELY DAN,JOHN RAFFERTY,HUGH MASERKELLER,GARY PUCKETT,BOOKER T & THE MGS
Wasnt this on earlier? On your Vintage TV channel? You had parts 1 & 2 of gone groups from the 60s. Guys, this UA-cam channel's owner is on some brain numbing drug.
You forgot The Beatles and The Rolling Stones as well ❤😂 nobody knows them!! Green Manalishi not Motilishi! Add Slayer’s name while you’re at it please; cuz nobody else remembers that band! I’m pretty sure they opened for The Beatles and The Rolling Stones however! Google that one!
Neil Schon and Greg Rollie left Santana for Journey. Savoy Brown turned into Foghat. Deep Purple??? wtf 😳 They’ve never been progressive or instructive whatsoever and started out with Hush and the 3 you’ve listed abhors being referred as Heavy Metal- even Sabbath’s Geezer has said that alongside Iommi. The fact you’re neglecting in telling people that Steppenwolf’s review in Rolling Stone magazine reads: coming on like a heavy metal thunder storm shows how far off you are and not knowing who the Grateful Dead is; just laughable 😂See.?
"20 Iconic 60s Music Groups That Time Forgot"?! Well, this claim is complete nonsense today and it will still be complete nonsense in a hundred years! Or even in two hundred!
Are you on drugs? The Rolling Stones are currently touring. The Grateful Dead are certainly not forgotten nor are The Who. The Stooges never really got going and were forgotten immediately even though they were really good but short lived. How about Nazz with Tod Rundgren, Humble Pie with Peter Frampton, Ten Years After with Alvin Lee, The Beach Boys, Iron Butterfly, Grand Funk Railroad. Now, those are bands that have been long forgotten.
His next video - 'The Beatles, a band that time forgot'.
"Led Zeppelin, The Blimp That Never Quite Took Off".
Rolling Stones and the Who? This guy is nuts!
This guy, sorry I forgot the name of his channel, forgot that he was making a video about the still famous groups from the sixties... or was it the most popular groups..or whatever.... He talks like he hears for the first time about them,
Oh dear. I have not forgotten The Stooges,Jefferson Airplane. I stopped watching at The Monkees. One of the most remembered bands of all time
Even after his death Jimi Hendrix has lived on in everyone's minds as perhaps the greatest guitarist of all time.
You may not remember them, but "I DO"!!!
What planet have you been living on? The Stones have NEVER been forgotten, and neither have the Grateful Dead.
Agree....List is from Jupiter
@@ilcepopovski4528 nah, even Jupiter knows.
Time has not forgotten ANY of these bands.
You took the words right out of my mouth.
So sad that the Who, the Stones, Simon & Garfunkel, and Jimi Hendrix have been totally forgotten! lolz..
The Moody Blues will never be forgotten
What a load of crap..... those who came up with this title are the only ones who forgot about these bands.
Apparently YOU are the ONLY ones who forgot about them.
People who love music and who especially grew up in the era .... NEVER forgot these great bands.
What are you thinking? None of these bands are forgotten. 🤔😵
I think the architects of these "forgotten" videos are aiming at the under thirty year old generation. The under thirties are too involved with their evolving selves to feel a connection or even a curiosity about what happened sixty years ago.
You are so right!
Yeah right another silly video about "forgotten" groups that have never been forgotten. 🤣 What a bunch of crap.
Agreed!
Humble Pie Savoy Brown not mentioned the continual double references describing theses bands is enough where I won't be back. NONE of these bands are forgotten COME ON MAN?
Dude, you need to change the title to "LEGENDS THAT WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN ". duuuh
TheStooges were directly influenced by, "TheChocoletWatchBand" from 2 years before.
Simon& Garfunkel had their first hit in1957!!!!!
What are your next Videos? "The Beatles - an insider tip for music specialists" "Elvis Presley - He changed music history, but the world has forgotten his name"
Who the hell forgot these groups? Many youngsters have simply not heard of them.
"20 iconic 60s Music Groups that Taylor Swift fans haven't heard of" would probably be a better title.
Rolling Stones, The Who, Deep Purple, Traffis, Cream..... Which bands have been forgotten?
CCR is still on tour
You are from a parallel world? Most Of The Bands well-known today.
And Charlie Watts was not a founder, He replaced another Drummer.
The Kinks forgotten? Don't worry, they are not.
FROM THE U K TO THE U S THE BEATLES REALLY STARTED A MUSICAL REVOLUTION

Groups that time forgot? Where do you live, in a vacuum on Mars⁉️ Who puts this crap together, and for what reason?
PETER AND GORDON,AND FREDDIE AND THE DREAMERS,EVEN GENESIS, RONNIE AND THE SHONDELLS,THE GENTRIES
SCEPTERS WITH LITTLE GIRLS WERE MADE TO LOVE
I don't think that the 60s forgot the who or the stones. I got a feeling you're smoking better weed than me when you made this because you're so off base
PRINCE,MIICHA JACKSON,WITHOUT HIS BROTHERS AND HIS LITTLE SISTERS JANET,REBA,AND TOYA WERE SINGING STARS,ALSO ROCKWELL,MITCH RIDER,TRAFFIC,THEN STING
In what alternate universe has Jimi Hendrix been forgotten???
None of these bands have been forgotten.
You guys are clever, putting Deep Purple in the thumbnail, you're asking people to get mad at you
Guys, don't feed into this!
ROCK AND ROLL Was one of there greatest songs
I don't understand this video. What are doing Simon & Garfunkel, The Moody Blues, Deep Purple, the Who and The Rolling Stones ( probably the best and most enduring Rock & Roll Band) in this list ? Groups that time has forgotten ????
“practically invented punk before punk was even a thing…..” Speaking of Stooges…
The only forgotten bands on here are the Stooges and Moby Grape!! The rest still get a lot of play on classic rock stations

The Flute is Not a Reed instrument
It is a woodwind, even though most modern iterations are metal.
PLEASE DONOT FORGET ABOUT THE ANIMALS WITH ERIC BURDON AND KISS WITH THEIR MASQUERADICALS FEATURES
Do not forget that Kiss is a 70ies band.
NOT INCLUDING MOTOWN GROUPS AND THAT ABOUT 25 MORE
Monkeys did the first music videos.😊
You forgot the Zombies
Until it came down to the guitar solo at the ND of the song
I liked the video but the title sucks. Leave off "that time forgot" ..the groups featured were some of the best and most popular back then.
Hendrix?
Cant believe Steppenwolf denied entry into Rock and Roll hall of fame. Atleast on first try they were. Look at the B.S. bands in HOF its a joke
I was a punk long before the word was invented.
This has got to be the stupidest video title I've ever seen on UA-cam.
